🎾 We've got some exciting news — Southlake Tennis Center was recently featured on USTAcoaching.com!

The article highlights what we've been doing here at STC to grow the game — from our nationally recognized junior program to our "New To Tennis" pathway that's changing the way adults learn tennis. Instead of throwing beginners onto a full-size court with yellow balls, we start them the same way we start kids: red ball courts, smaller racquets, and a progression that actually builds confidence.

The results speak for themselves — over 120 adult players have come through the pathway, with some already competing at the USTA 3.0 and 3.5 playoff level! 🏆

As our General Manager Mia Gordon-Poorman puts it: "Why don't we just start teaching adults like we teach children and stop talking about red, orange, and green ball tennis as somehow baby tennis?"

🎾 They’re not just learning skills… they’re learning how to use those skills to PLAY the game. 👏

This past weekend, 34 of our Level 1–2 players hit the courts for WORLD TOUR LONDON 🇬🇧 — a fun team tournament where beginner players got their very first taste of real match play, teamwork, and competition!

At Southlake Tennis Center, our Junior Program is built differently. Through weekly classes, free Match Days, and our World Tour events inspired by the four major tennis tournaments, kids gain confidence from day one and learn the game by actually playing it. 💪🎾

And the best part? Watching these players cheer each other on, compete for team points, and discover just how FUN tennis can be. 🙌

Registration is OPEN for Summer Leagues at Southlake Tennis Center — and spots won't last long! Leagues kick off the week of June 1 and run through early August (we're taking the week of July 4th off, because fireworks > forehands 🎆).

🎾 PLAYOFF RECAP: Our ladies showed up and showed OUT! 💪

A huge shoutout to all four of our USTA women's teams who competed in the playoffs May 1 & 2!

🏆 STC Louks & STC Hanlon — YOU'RE GOING TO SECTIONALS IN AUGUST! What an incredible achievement — so proud of you both!
💪 STC Miller — Fought hard in some nail-biting, close matches. That heart and determination is what this game is all about!
❤️ STC Biery — Made it to the semis and gave it everything they had. Heads high, ladies — you had an amazing run!

What made us proudest wasn't just the scores — it was the incredible sportsmanship, perseverance, and heart every single player brought to the court. THAT is what Southlake Tennis Center is all about. 🙌
