Our mission is to not only develop young football players & cheerleaders, but also to develop outstanding young men and women of which the community of Southington, CT can be proud. We teach that through hard work, practice and determination there is no goal that cannot be achieved, either on the field or off. The Southington Travel Knights provide the youth an opportunity to participate in it's tackle football, flag football and cheerleading programs. The Tackle Football program is a competitive, grade based football program. Our teams compete in the 79er(2nd & 3rd grade), 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade divisions. Each team is staffed with a well trained coaching staff, who diligently work to teach and drill the players in the fundamentals of football. The Flag Football program is open to all Southington children in the kindergarten through 3rd grade. The Flag Football program strives to teach the players the basics of football in a fun and safe environment. We take great pride in seeing our players so active in their community. Many of our playerโs names can be found on the Honor Rolls at their particular schools. Our players can also be found participating in leadership groups, religious organizations, charitable organizations or attending anti-drug rallies held in town.
