Attention Viking families This Saturday we will be participating in the 2023 Southgate Heritage day parade.

We will Meet in the Grogan parking lot on Burns at 10am. We encourage you to wear your Viking wear. If you do not have any and would like to purchase something to wear Rosie will have a merch tent pop up this Thursday June 15th from 4 to 6 pm at the practice field.

We will be providing candy for the parade but it is limited so if you would like to bring more to hand out you are welcome.

We ask that you please do not throw the candy.

We would love to have some parents volunteer to walk in the parade with us! 😜

Deadline for all paperwork is slowly approaching. Your child will NOT be allowed on the football field or cheer field if the following paperwork is not submitted. No exceptions.

If you are unsure on what you still may need to turn in please reach out to the Registrar (Camille Bulley) as soon as possible by sending an email to: [email protected]

When reaching out via email, please Include Your Name, Your Child’s Name, and Squad Level.

MANDATORY REQUIRED PAPERWORK

A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate
A copy of parent photo ID
A completed Sports Physical Dated 2023
A waiver form for Non-Southgate Residents
A signed Parent Code Contract (football/cheer)
A signed Cheer Contract
A completed registration packet including:
Registration Form
Concussion Form
Medical History Form
Medical Consent Form

association meeting will be June 8th at 6pm at the Southgate senior center.

This meeting is extremely important and I encourage you to please join us. We will be voting on motions to change the Southgate Junior Football association bylaws.

Good afternoon families! Here is our calendar for the season. Please be advised that some dates may change.

05/31/2023

Vikings families we were invited to walk in the Southgate Heritage days parade. We hope that you will join us on June 17th.
We will meet in the Grogan Elementary School parking lot at 10am and will march down Burns! The parade starts at 11am.
We will need some adult volunteers to help with getting the children safely from point A to point B.
We hope to see you all and remember to wear your Vikings gear!!

The Titan Athletic Department is offering sports physicals once again. We will be offering physicals on May 31st. The cost of the physical will be $20 cash. Physicals will take place in the Anderson High School Main Office from 5:00 pm-7:30 pm. This is a good chance to take care of your code of conduct and physical for each season next year. This will cover all sports of the 2023-2024 season. Below is the link for the sign-up genius for both dates and the flyer with the form links needed. Any questions please feel free to reach out.

Thursday May 11th we have our association meeting at 6pm at the senior center. Right after we will be passing out our remaining lottery tickets for our mandatory fundraiser.

If you did not get your tickets or are interested in selling more this would be the time to pick them up.

Please remember you will not receive any equipment unless lottery tickets are turned in.

Don’t forget!!! May 19th!! Get those teams! Read the flyer 😉 And show up for our Class of 2024! Help the graduating Titan Class of 2024, whom many were once a Southgate Viking as well ♥️ Signing up early helps us tremendously, so we have a rough estimate of packets, however please feel free to show up day of!! We will take ALL TEAMS!!! The more the merrier. We are hoping to make this a great event for our kids!! ♥️😊
