Attention all Belle Isle Longwall Championship players!

Please see the Belle Isle pass below. As Belle Isle can get busy on the weekends, this pass will assure that you can get on the Island if they are at capacity as they know you are part of the racquetball tournament.

Keep this attachment on your phone and if needed, please show this to a Belle Isle park attendant if they try to stop you from coming on Belle Isle for the tournament.

A few items to note:

- We are keeping a close eye on the weather throughout the day. Like any outdoor tournament we will do our best and change and adapt as needed throughout the day and hopefully keep dry. We want to run a smooth and timely as possible tournament for all to enjoy. Please check in a half-hour before your matches start so that we can start matches on time.

- Check in will start at 8am with first matches scheduled for 8:30am

- We please request you bring exact change if you are bringing cash to make it easy for everyone

- You need a recreation daily or annual pass to enter Belle Isle. If you don't have one and are a Michigan resident, it is only $15 for an annual pass. If you are a non-resident, it is an $12 day pass (Either pass can be purchased at the entry booth to the park, if there is an agent present). More details on that in an upcoming post.

- On Saturdays, Belle Isle has been getting extremely busy and backing up cars on the bridge making entry very slow. Please plan
ahead and give yourself enough time so as to not delay your matches because wait times have been up to 45 minutes for people to enter the park. Plan on showing up 1 hour before your matches so you don't get stuck on the bridge.

Sunday, August 16th is the deadline to sign up. Please sign up and your doubles partners need to sign up as well.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Have an active USAR OR WOR Membership -- purchase or renew
when you register
- Please pay online via R2 -- we do not have a card reader or a
cash machine on the Island
- No refunds will be issued after Wednesday August 19th, 2026

PLEASE NOTE:
- Directors reserve the right to combine or cancel divisions and
modify the length of matches or games as needed depending on
weather or time constraints
- Times will be posted by Friday August 21st, 2026 after 5pm.

It's August time and time to sign up for the 42nd annual Belle Isle Longwall Racquetball Championships taking place at the historic Belle Isle courts in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday August 22nd.

To respect all of the longtime racquetball players that have been playing this sport for decades, we are proud to announce our new 65+ Year old division. All of those 65 years and older can sign up and play against your fellow players in this fun and competitive division.

Good Morning! The 5th Annual RAM Inside/Outside Tournament is is ready to roll, with the draws and times posted at https://www.r2sports.com/tourney/divisions/listAllDivs.asp?TID=54233&sortBy=defaultOrder!

The tournament starts at 8:45 AM with Elite Doubles and Women's singles.

Please be 20 minutes early for your scheduled match to register, get the correct shirt size and then warm up.

Time is running out to sign up for the 2026 3-Wall Inside Out - RAM Outdoor Tournament! Entry deadline is this Wednesday, June 24th and you can sign up at

The tournament will be this Saturday, June 27 at the St. Clair Shores Civic Center. You can play two divisions and matches two games to 15 points. Men’s and women’s singles will also be available.

All entrants will receive a tournament shirt. We will provide medals for all 1st and 2nd place finishers. Food, water and other refreshments will be provided, includiging Gatorade, burgers, hot dogs and more. We also plan to serve more food later in the day. If you have special food considerations, please contact us.

We will use the PENN Ballistic 2.0 Tournament Ball. Thanks to Penn and Head for hosting our event! Looking forward to seeing you in the tournament!!
