The detroit fighting irish get a split in the first weekend of the season against the chicago cougars. The focus now shifts to Octber 15, when they faceoff against the Motor City Hockey Club at Southgate Ice Arena. Puck drop at 7:30pm!

The Detroit Fighting Irish would like the announce the memorial of Dan Vasquez. The Irish will be having a memorial game against one of Dans biggest rivals, Motor City Hockey Club on October, 15. All gate fees will be donation based. All proceeds will be going toward the Dan Vasquez Scholarship Fund.

The Vasquez Family would love for you to join the celebration of Dans life!

7 p.m. - Food

11:30am, Metro Jets vs. Dells Ducks

All the games above will be played at Southgate Ice Arena!

All games will be shown live on The Detroit Fighting Irish page. We will be going live 20 minutes before every game.

This past weekend, the Irish headed north to the sand dunes. It was a great trip for the squad with lots of time to bond before getting ready for the pre-season games scheduled for September 10-12. From setting up tents, playing corn hole, dancing around the campfire, football on the beach, kayaking, boarding down the dunes, and countless memories. We would like to thank our owners for such a great trip and all the wonderful food that was provided for the players. Until next year!!

Today was an exciting day, the long wait is over! The Detroit Fighting Irish have taken the ice for main camp to start the 2021-2022 season!
