Skaters for Moore is a grassroots organization, originally started in 2005 & reformed in 2020, by parents, business owners, and skateboarders, united in the cause of advocating for the building of a skate park for Moore County & the surrounding areas.

Maybe a little late in the day, but we couldn't let the day get away without wishing Mrs. Elaine T. Baillie a Happy Heavenly Birthday! We know you're smiling down and watching over us, as you watch down over all that get to enjoy the skatepark daily. On behalf of the skateboarding community here in , we want to say THANK YOU again, for your support, and the love you showed to all of us... today, last year, and decades ago when you showed a motley group of skateboarders, called Team Flow, that we ALL can be Future Leaders of the World. Your grace and kindness has caused ripples in our community, and Im doing my best to keep those ripples spreading throughout our little pond.

We are proud to announce the creation of the Inaugaral 2026 Skaters for Moore College Scholarship program. We will be awarding TWO $500 Scholarships to a Moore County based skateboarders that will be attending a 2 or 4-year program (either at a trade school or accredited college) next year.

If you are a Pinecrest student, please see your guidance counselor for an application.

Soooo.... this ain't cool. So, can we please stop?! Every time we spend money on removing this kind of stuff, it takes away from money to giveaway Skateboards to kids that need them, certify skate instructors, and maybe expand the park one day. Do better..

Take pride in your park. Lots of people worked really hard to make this happen. So, just don't. Ok?!

And for all those aspiring to be the next Banksie, the Department actually made a graffiti wall for just ThIS purpose (see the last frame).
