Reminder about the Virtual Inspection Pilot Program!
The American Trakehner Association is excited to introduce a new three‑year pilot program for Virtual Inspections. Approved by the ATA Board in 2026, this program allows members in remote areas to present eligible horses for inspection via WhatsApp video with ATA Breed Director, Dr. Christian Schacht. Virtual inspections are available for Trakehner, Thoroughbred, Arabian, and Half‑Trakehner mares, geldings, and foals. The same inspection standards apply as at in‑person inspection sites. Owners must submit paperwork and pay standard inspection fees plus a $50 convenience fee before scheduling.
