BIG CONGRATS to Diana on winning the most recent Strongtown nutrition challenge!!

We asked Diana a few questions about the most recent challenge, and here are her answers.

1. What is the most important tip you have for someone trying to make good nutrition choices? 

Diana:
I think in the beginning you absolutely have to meal prep or at least mentally plan so you know you are hitting your targets. For me it made me less likely to impulse eat crappy food because I already had everything planned and set. It’s one of those things I think I’ve always been told but it didn’t really click until I started actually doing it.

2. How are you able to be so consistent with your good habits? 

Diana:
Once I found good sources for protein and ways to work more fruits and veggies into my meals I craved junk food less and less. Finding a good gym (aka Strongtown 😉) has made working out not feel like a chore and my struggle now is forcing myself to take rest days haha.

3. Have you noticed any positive changes (energy, performance, mood, sleep, stress, body comp, etc.) since changing your nutrition habits? 

Diana:
I’m a mom so I will forever be tired, loll, but I definitely noticed improved performance at the gym and noticable muscle definition. Since starting at the gym in October I’ve lost 15 lbs, 5 of which I lost during the 6 week nutrition.

Perfection is an end, it implies we have reached the pinnacle and there is no more work to be done.

On average one of our typical workouts lasts somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes.

Yep, that's it...it's so easy 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 can do it.

Each class is an hour overall but that includes time to review the workout, a warm-up, maybe some sort of skill work, as well as some time to cool down & clean-up afterwards.
-
The point being you don't need to spend hours in the gym to be healthy and fit.
-
We get that everyone has busy lives so our goal is provide a workout that is both effective and efficient.

Trying out a class only takes an hour.
