Hey Southampton Town United Soccer Families,
I wanted to reach out personally about someone who means a great deal to all of us—Coach Greg Fink.
As many of you know, Greg has been going through an incredibly difficult medical situation. After two weeks in intensive care, he underwent major brain surgery this past Saturday in Colombia. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, and we are all incredibly grateful for that.
Greg is currently still in the hospital and is expected to remain there for about another 10 days, followed by a few more weeks of recovery before he is able to travel home—assuming everything continues to go well.
Greg is so much more than a coach in our club. He’s a friend, a mentor, and someone who has dedicated his life to serving others—whether through his time with the NYPD, his humanitarian work, or his commitment to our players and families at Southampton Town United. He has always shown up for others without hesitation.
Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Below you can find a GoFundMe link to support Greg and his family as he continues this long road to recovery. The medical care, travel, and recovery process ahead will be significant, and any support—big or small—will make a real difference.

If you are able to contribute, or simply help by sharing the link, it would mean a great deal to Greg and his family.
Most importantly, please keep Greg in your thoughts and prayers.
This club has always been about more than soccer—it’s about taking care of our own. Let’s rally around Greg the same way he has always been there for so many.
Thank you Sincerely,
Andreas Lindberg
Executive Director of Southampton Soccer Club
