How can you tell if someone is a sailor? A sailor always watches the weather!
Whether it's good, bad or ugly.

And it was the BEST for BRASS' last night of sailing with about 10 knots of wind and a gorgeous sky of altocumulus clouds chasing the early sunset. Close to 20 sailors enjoyed a sail on the quiet fall river. Sailors enjoyed a lively, celebratory mood on the deck and shared their food, stories and laughter, closing the successful 2026 season. How nice is that?

Thanks to all who helped out on all the races this season.
Whether you were a boat operator, anchor person, dropped or pulled marks, prepped the whiteboard, recorded the races, took photos, watched the lines, blew the horns, did the timing or raised the flags, you all made a difference. Thank you. A big thanks to Eric Grossman for serving as Race Committee chair.
One more PHR race on Sunday the 13th and a Capri relay later in the month will call the 2026 season a wrap.

Yesterday was the picture perfect fall sailing day with plenty of wind, blue skies, and the entire river to ourselves! It was great to see a full Capri fleet out plus 3 Beetle Cats. The racing was exciting, with several tight situations and a few near spills. Thank you Julian and Terri for stepping in to run the race committee boat and to all the other members who helped make the day a great success!⛵️
