Announcement: In Memory of Jon Christensen

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jon Christensen, President of the Woodstock Rifle and Pistol Club. Jon died Wednesday afternoon following a sudden tick-borne illness, leaving us shocked and deeply heartbroken.

Jon was more than a leader—he was a steady hand, a loyal friend, and a passionate advocate for our club and its mission. His commitment to our club, his kindness, and his quiet strength made a lasting mark on all who knew him.

In Jon’s honor, the WRPC Annual BBQ will be held as scheduled this Saturday, August 2nd. It will serve not only as a cherished tradition, but also as a moment for us to gather in remembrance of the man who led us with such heart.

Jon’s obituary will be posted in the coming days as we mourn the loss of our longtime leader and celebrate his life.

DUES ARE DUE FOR 2025: $80 REGULAR, $40 SENIOR RATE (65 PLUS). 2025 GATE CODE WILL BE ISSUED MARCH 1ST.

Dues paid prior to February 29 are eligible for a $100 gift card from Bass Pro Shops with one winner to be drawn and awarded at the annual meeting in May.

Important: Our club sponsors up to 4 kids to attend VT Conservation Camp. This camp gets booked very quickly so recommendations need to be in early. Details on camp can be found on line at VT Conservation Camp.

If you have any kids to recommend, please have them send a letter to us at my email telling why they would like to attend. Time is of the essence - don't let this opportunity pass by.
