The weathers looking PERFECT and we’ve got all your favorite vendors on site lots of fun in store with Steven Pozotto under the pavilion, activities for the kids and a free mini-Reiki session with River Stones Reiki (space is limited).

DOGGIE DIPS REMINDER!

Let your four-legged friends cool off and make a splash at our annual Doggie Dips at Veterans Memorial Park Pool!

Bring your pup out for an evening of swimming, playing, and making new furry friends before the pool season comes to an end.

Wednesday, September 2

Lil’ Doggy Dip — 45 lbs & under
4:00 PM–5:30 PM

Big Doggy Dip — Over 45 lbs
6:00 PM–7:30 PM

$5 per dog
A current municipal dog license is required to participate.

Registration is available online at recreation.southwindsor.org.

HELP A DOG IN NEED

We’ll also be collecting pet item donations to benefit local animal rescues and shelters. If you’d like to help, consider bringing a donation with you to Doggie Dips. Every contribution can help make a difference for a dog in need.

Looking for a way to get outside and enjoy the beautiful August full moon? Join South Windsor Walk & Wheel Ways for a Full Moon Walk through Nevers Park tonight!

Walk begins at 8:00 PM
Nevers Park Rotary Pavilion

The Sturgeon Moon is expected to rise around 7:42 PM, making tonight a perfect evening for a walk under the moonlight.

The walk will cover approximately 1.5 miles through Nevers Park. Bring your family and friends, and don't forget a flashlight!

Exciting News!

A New Playground Is Coming to Rye Street Park! We’re excited to announce that Rye Street Park will be getting a brand-new playground this fall!

To prepare for the new playground installation, the existing playground will be closed beginning Monday, August 31.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to bring an exciting new playground to Rye Street Park.

We’ll be sharing updates throughout the project, including information about the installation and details on the grand opening, on our website and social media.

CALLING ALL KIDS! The 2026 Kid’s Market is coming up!

Does your child have something they love to make, create, grow, or sell? The South Windsor Farmers Market Kid’s Market is a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs to share their talents with the community, gain hands-on experience, and even make their own money!

Children ages 5–17 are encouraged to participate. Kids can create their own products, set up their booth, interact with customers, and experience the excitement of entrepreneurship.

The South Windsor Farmers Market has gone to the dogs! Join us Saturday, 8/29 for our Annual Dog Days event! Free 30 min on leash training sessions (10:30 am) with Happy Dogs at Home, $5 nail clipping with Julie's Barks and Bubbles LLC. We will also have local dog rescues and free pet photography!
