TRY IT FOR $5!

If you weren't able to make it for a full Intro to Irish Dance camp this summer but have wanted to try Irish dancing with us - this is your chance! We have TWO dates available this summer for new dancers to try out our classes in their age group and level. If your little one falls in love with dancing, you'll be able to secure a 4-week introductory package for September or enroll in your desired class.

Visit us July 13th or August 10th by using the booking calendar for the date and age group for your dancer:

5:00-5:25pm - Tiny Jig (ages 2-3)
5:30-6:00pm - Pre-Beginner (ages 4-5)
6:00-6:45pm - Beginner (ages 6+)

A little behind the scenes look at TREO class last night! Each team was challenged to create 32 bars of choreography using specific movements and arm combinations set to music chosen at random. It was amazing to watch their creativity, teamwork, and ideas come to life.

CLASS OF 2026 🎓

Our final graduate for 2026 is Maggie Schwab! Maggie graduated from Hall High School last week and will be headed to Providence College this fall. Maggie has been part of SRL since 2019 and it has been a pleasure to help her develop her dance skills from a prelim dancer to a World Qualifier!

Along the way, we've had a front row seat to Maggie growing up and channeling her bright, spunky personality into being a leader and an advocate within the studio. Outside of dancing, Maggie has been a longtime member of her high school's unified theatre program and is an active member of her church.

Classes won't quite be the same without her in the fall, but luckily Providence isn't too far away. Wish Maggie the best of luck as she prepares for her next chapter!

CLASS OF 2026 🎓

Congratulations to Sarah Hall on her upcoming graduation from South Windsor High School! Sarah is a beloved part of our SRL community and she has provided so many great memories of dance class for our youngest dancers. Sarah danced competitively in solos and teams for several years before transitioning to solely working with our youngest dancers in the Jump'n Jig program. Sarah expressed interest in helping with classes as a student assistant from a young age and her talent and skills were undeniable. She will be greatly missed as she transitions to life as a college student at Ithaca College.

Sarah will combine her passion for teaching and educating the next generation with her love of music as she majors in music education. Sarah is a bass player and has been actively involved with South Windsor High School's music programs - from All-States to playing for the Choral Spectrum.

Wish Sarah all the best in her next chapter!

CLASS OF 2026 🎓

Congratulations to Rebecca King on her upcoming graduation from RHAM High School! Rebecca will be starting at the International Institute of Cosmetology pursuing her long time love of all things fashion, hair, and make up.

Since Rebecca started dancing nine years ago, she has always maintained her unique sense of self. Her unapologetic and bold confidence in herself has been present as long as I've known her and it is something I've always admired and longed to see in more young girls. Over the years, her looks have only grown more creative and elaborate and I can't wait to see her hone her craft in the next phase of her career. Don't be surprised if you see her work or styling in a theatre, magazine, or a catwalk near you!

Rebecca is a preliminary champion Irish dancer and has shared her love of Irish dancing with her mom, Paula, competing and performing family dances and 2-Hands over the years. We do love hair, make up, and costumes in Irish dancing and maybe there's a world where Rebecca's two worlds collide one day...?

CLASS OF 2026 🎓

Congratulations to Molly Rotter who celebrated her graduation from Mercy High School last week! Molly is headed to Providence College in the fall along with many other Irish dancers from New England and beyond.

Molly came to SRL looking for a change from the intense competition track. After spending some time dancing just to enjoy the art form, she reclaimed her love of dance and made her way back out onto the competition stage. In this journey, she has matured and grown a lot in how she sees dancing, competing, and herself - earning another World qualification at the New England Oireachtas, a World Championship recall, and completing grade exams 11 and 12 along the way.

Providence College is home to a collegiate Irish dance club and she'll be able to stay connected to Irish dancing recreationally, competitively, or both - the choice is hers! Molly has always been and always will be a beautiful dancer and we're excited to see where the next chapter takes her!

A massive shoutout to Nora, Liston, and Spicey representing SRL at SWHS along with their classmates Maeve and Kaleigh. It is always great to see Irish dance being shared with communities and you all did a fantastic job bringing the house down. We are already looking forward to next year’s performance!
