It's not just for the kids - have you ever been curious to try Irish dancing yourself? Have you ALWAYS wanted to try it but never had the opportunity or the means? Or maybe you're one of our boomerangs - you danced as a kid but have been meaning to get back to it. No matter your starting point, we have an adult program for you!

💃SRL After Dark is our original adult program designed to be beginner friendly (we mean it - friendly and welcoming to ALL ages), a vibrant social space, and just challenging enough that you surprise yourself often. If you've never danced before or are just getting started, we'd love to see you on Friday evenings.

☘ Intermediate Adult Class is for our improvers - adults who have been in the after dark program and are ready to challenge themselves and learn even more. Adult dancers who want to compete are able to learn their more advanced soft shoe and beginner hard shoe dances here. If you've danced before but are looking to get back into it, this is a great place to start!

🚀We have a competitive adult ceili program and we're so proud of how successful our teams have been at the regional and North American championships. Dancers who want to compete as part of a team - or as an individual - have the opportunity to do so.

Do you have a child who is back to school but still has so much energy?! Our Beginner classes are ready for them 🤸🏼

Designed for ages 6+, our Beginner classes are one hour per week and introduce school age children to Irish dance foundations and they'll end the year with both the reel and light jig as well as opportunities to engage with Irish dance outside of the studio.

Our Thursday class is currently waitlist only, but our Tuesday and Saturday classes still have spots remaining. You can schedule a time to try the class of your choice and see if Irish dancing helps use some of that energy through physically challenging activity that provides a social outlet too!

30-minute classes once per week offered on your choice of Monday evenings or Saturday mornings

Your dancer will not only learn Irish dancing - they will accelerate their motor skills, engage with both their classmates and our community of dancers of all ages, and develop their independence and confidence with each passing week.

Did you know you can start Irish dancing with us as early as age 2?

Our preschool aged program is designed by Jump'n Jig and SRL is the only studio in the state of Connecticut using curriculum designed by an early childhood educator and Irish dancing teacher, Fiona Holmes ADCRG.

Tailored curriculum, caring teachers, and an environment created to make Irish dancing fun helps children who have never participated in activities before, or even gone to daycare regularly, find their independence and learn skills that support their growth and development milestones.

One of the best feelings as a teacher is seeing a student fall genuinely in love with Irish dancing. It starts with excitement and enthusiasm. Then it manifests into the desire to always be learning more.

Eventually it reaches a stage where the monotonous drills, the hard days, the challenges and the setbacks - even when they become numerous - can't outweigh the joy, the comfort, and the return that years of Irish dancing has given them.

These dancers aren't dancing because someone else wants them to - they're dancing because they don't know what they'd do without it 🍀

Whether you fall in love with Irish dancing or you're just curious or want to try something new, classes for all levels and ages are starting Tuesday September 8 at our South Windsor studio. Trial classes are bookable on our website or through the link in our bio.

A huge part of what we do is teach Irish dancing - the movements, the skills, the steps, and how they all work with the music. But far more importantly, we teach from an early age:

We're welcoming new dancers for 2026-2027 and we'd love to meet YOU!

Irish dancing is a fun way for all ages to learn a new skill, engage with peers, and release energy while connecting with the best music & people!

Our studio prides itself on allowing all of our students move at their own pace while providing the tools, staff, and wisdom to take you as far as you can dream. Whether you want to dance for fun, fitness, community, performances, or competition - we have your back!

Classes for 2026-2027 begin this September and we offer classes for brand new students as well as dancers who have already started learning Irish dance. It's not just for the kids, either - we have a dedicated class just for adult beginners and adult intermediates.

Summer camp and feis fun!

Each year several of our dancers attend CRC Irish Dance Camp to spend a full week working with guest instructors on their dancing and surrounded by Irish dancers from across the country. This year we had a few new campers who thoroughly enjoyed it and came home ready to push their dancing to the next level!

Cora did just that yesterday at the Catskills Feis - 5 first places! Wow! Congratulations Cora!

We'll be seeing you all soon for our August camps back at the studio ♥️
