now that january is coming to a close.. young at heart wanted to wish you a happy new year! we hope it’s been so far, so good ✨

what a start for young at heart.. kicking off 8 after-school programs & coordinating more + already planning for summer camps!

& reflecting on all the fun 2023 brought in our school programs, camps, birthday parties, baby showers & classes/ollaboration with + !! all possible because of the best team of teachers.. 👯‍♀️

open & ready for february/a beautiful 2024.. filled with lots of yoga of course! 🤍

now that summer is officially almost over.. young at heart wanted to share some summer love 🌞

we had SO much fun teaching camps Bella Prāṇa Collective, South Tampa Microschool, Bayshore Christian School & camp hope with Purple Dot Yoga Project!

+ classes at our fave The Sunflower Patch (bonus that my girls were my assistants) 👯‍♀️

& some young at heart team bonding (aka the best kids yoga teachers in the world)!!

we hope you had a beautiful summer filled with lots of yoga.. can’t wait to teach you this fall! 🤍

5 years ago, I received my trauma informed yoga training through a beautiful nonprofit, purple dot yoga! 💜

& have since taught kids yoga at domestic vilolence shelters + the amazing staff who serves this community.

& this past summer, I was fortunate enough to *get* to teach at camp hope- giving the joy of yoga & meditation to kids who have experienced domestic violence (+ just chatting & doing camp things) ✨🏕️

we had SO much fun together!! what a *hopeful*, strong, resilient, loving group. kids are AMAZING. 💜

my heart is full.. purple dot yoga fulfills my purpose in what i’m doing with this whole yoga thing & I can’t wait for more as a PDY teacher.

yoga postures for both you & baby, yoga books + games, sweet/fun songs, relaxation & sensory play.. a class that truly bonds caregiver & baby, in a joyful environment ✨

Presenting Ms. Megan Lopez with young at heart yoga! She will be teaching Baby and Me Yoga at The Sunflower House Hyde Park, Tuesdays at 9:15a.m starting March 7th. here are some simple postures with a fun twist to get you started with your little yogis!

happy baby (rock side to side & mimic your baby sister)🤍

tree (close your eyes or sway your arms for a balance challenge)

candle (shoulder stand.. & try bicycle legs/see who can peddle the fastest)

star (star posture while singing “twinkle, twinkle little star”- shifting between your right & left side) ✨

downward dog (+ bark like one!)

cat & cow (meow & moo)

butterfly (flap your wings/name their color & where they’re flying to) 🦋

let me know your child’s favorite.. & if you’d like to join a group private class for even more!!

we have been SO busy this fall at young at heart!

•officially launching in august (after co-owning youthful yoga for 6 years!)

•hiring & training some amazing teachers 🫶🏽

•running 10 after-school programs in s. tampa

•teaching events, toddler classes (the cutest South Tampa Microschool) & family yoga at Bella Prāṇa Collective ✨

loving it all & can’t wait for more of it!

happy thanksgiving yogis!!

i kicked off this week of thanks teaching a gratitude flow at a friendsgiving brunch 🧘🏻‍♀️

starting off a get together with a little movement & mindfulness is the perfect way to connect with your friends.. & yourself 🙏🏼

i’m truly grateful for such a beautiful morning with these moms 🫶🏽
