What can I say we cant be more thrilled with how our season is going since our 4th win we have some updates.

We went to the Dave Riley memorial race had a good heat race we let Brenda draw for us and she pulled the 1 so we started on the pole after a good race with the 25 we pulled away. However with 3 to go driver came up on lap traffic and tried to anticipate witch lane to try to pass and gave up the bottom at that time 2nd place made his move and took the lead with RJ feeling like he just gave the race away he made a bad move and made contact with the lap car and got a flat and some bent parts so we dnf ...

Next race was the Harris clash in Boone, Iowa.
Started 4th in the heat finished 3rd
That put us outside the front row for the B Feature and we won with some stout competition
Started 13th in the feature.
It fell to 19th worked our way back up to 11th and then
RJ got a little too high in one and two and decided to just pull in so another dnf and even though we've had these two d n f we have been very confident in our car, and we have been very fast with some very good competition

That brings us back to park jefferson last Friday ..... heat race, we started fourth was running. Third, when we went off the top of three and four.
Come to the feature and start a 10th. Moved up to second the caution then comes out. At this point RJ new, he only had one chance to take over the top spot and that was to try a slide job into one. And 2 and hopefully break the leader's momentum. RJ will admit he is not very good at slide jobs, but this one worked out. And we were able to hold off the others in route to our fifth win this season (that still seems unreal to say out loud)

We went back to park for the midwest madness tour race. Track was very fast.
And had 2 lines top and bottom. We started second in the heat race, and we finished there as well.

That put us in the redraw where we drew the 5 and after moving up to second and almost passing for the lead
We fell back to fifth to finish, but had a very fast car and ran with some of the best in the country.
All in all a very good night

Our next race will be july tenth at Park Jefferson speedway we hope everybody has a very safe and fun Fourth of july!!!!

It is race day at Park Jefferson Speedway. Race time is 7:15 come on out it will be a great night weather looks perfect!

🔥TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT🔥

The Merchant Racing 77M Modified team is headed to Boone Speedway tonight for the legendary Harris Clash! It’s the oldest running single-day IMCA Modified special, and the field is absolutely stacked.
