Happy Mother’s Day!

No game today. Bob learned long ago that you can schedule a game on Father’s Day; you can even play a game on Easter Sunday. But forget a Mother’s Day game - not enough guys will show up to field a team. They are busy honoring the Mom’s in their lives. As it should be!

Bob has finished the big winter/early spring project of removing sod, placing fill and replacing sod to raise up the area behind the infield a few inches. All this rainfall has the sod looking green again. Almost time to play ball!

UPDATE 7th Inning - SC catcher Jonathan McKenzie has hit back-to-back homers in last 2 at-bats. He’s 5 for 5 hitting today so far.

UPDATE AFTER 6 innings - Bearcats batted around in bottom of 6th. Schultz Creek leads 12-1

UPDATE: after 3 innings it’s Schultz Creek 2-1 over DESCO
