In loving memory of Ken Clark,
An original teaching Pro at Golf the round…

He found himself involved in the golf industry for 40+ years. He was an outstanding teacher and a wonderful player as well. Conquering the unconquerable sport for years, living his best life.

He was the first pro in Utah to have and use video tape replay in his teaching. Clark, on average, taught 1,000 lessons a year.  Widely read in golf literature, Kenny was one of the first certified Golf Machine instructors. He taught the likes of Mehmet Okur, Raja Bell, Deron Williams and Greg Ostertag – all former Utah Jazz stars.

Clark was honored to be the Utah Section PGA Teacher of the Year in 1994 and 2000. Ken Clark’s impact is seen with many PGA Professional’s today. Generations have been blessed for his effort and tenacity toward the game we all love. From the owner of Golf the round who worked for Uncle Kenny starting at the age of 13, he was my uncle, father figure, mentor, and idol. Uncle Kenny’s work ethic and integrity was the best I have ever seen.

Ken Clark, we thank you for all your years of service in our golfing community and thank you Pro.

Ken has survived by his wife Tammy, daughter Lacy (Adrien) and his six grand children.

It’s that time of year again! Our awesome grounds crew will be aerating the course on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, May 20th and 21st. The course will be closed until 8 am both days. The range will be open at its normal time of 6:30 am. See you out there! ⛳️
