So much fun at our annual Propel staff party! 🩵🛼✨

This year’s 90s theme brought lots of neon, throwback outfits, classic candy, catered Chipotle, games, and fun prizes 🌟 It was such a fun night celebrating and spending time together outside of the pool 💙

We’re so grateful for the incredible team that helps make Propel such a welcoming and positive place for our swimmers and families every day 🫧

🫧 Meet our “Bumper Buddies!” 🌟

At Propel, we use fun activities like Bumper Buddies to help swimmers practice safe movement and awareness in the water 💙 One swimmer gently taps the other swimmer’s head to let them know they’ve reached the wall and it’s time to stop 🏊

This activity helps swimmers learn spacing, follow directions, and move safely within a class setting—all while having fun with their friends 💦

👀 What’s a Water Watcher? 🏊‍♂️

When it’s time for fun outside of swim class, safety is still the top priority! 🛟 A Water Watcher is an adult who’s dedicated to actively supervising children while they swim, whether it’s at a pool party, the beach, or even at home. Parents, it’s important to designate someone as the Water Watcher—an adult who won’t be distracted by phones, conversations, or multitasking, but will keep a constant eye on the kids in the water 💦

Drowning can happen quickly and silently, which is why having a dedicated Water Watcher can help prevent accidents and keep everyone safe. Be sure to assign this crucial role anytime your child is swimming outside of lessons! 🫧
