Babes Breaking Away

The Pasadena area is full of amazing female cyclists. Many local women race for different teams (or don't race, but ride like racers) and we find ourselves riding as the lone woman in a group of men, as one of a few women on the Rose Bowl Ride/Montrose or we just ride solo. This ride aims to introduce local fast women to each other and ride at a recovery pace while working on group riding skills a

nd building a community of strong women riders. ICE Sportswear's Armin Rahm has a career-long history of supporting female cyclists through coaching and directing and will be on the ride to provide guidance and feedback. The ride starts from Velo Pasadena. What you can expect on this ride:
- Excellent group riding etiquette and friendly advice on good riding etiquette
- Recovery pace that's EZ for racers and challenging but very do-able for recreational riders
- Advice and support
- City sign sprints :^)
- Regrouping
- Men are welcome (with these women, you'd be a fool not to come to the ride), but women set the ride pace

What this ride isn't:
- Beach cruiser-friendly
- A race
