Through 3 games we are batting .424 with 10 extra base hits. Yesterdays come from behind 7-5 victory saw the bats finally come alive up and down the lineup!! Good work fellas!!

Being removed from the game at least 6-7 years now, i still find myself reflecting back on the fun and the great group of guys i had the pleasure of playing with for close to two decades. Some, I've know for a solid 30 years. Sometimes you take it for granted that these guys will always be around, and you don't fully appreciate how rare and special the moments were. I've always loved being a Slammer, and the new group of guys have made me very proud when i see them properly represent the image the Teddy and the rest of us have forged over the last twenty years. Torch well carried boys.

All-Star weekend comes to a close with the West winning 9-2. Your Western All Stars were powered defensively by Jeff and Brian of the Slammers who each chipped in with runs as well in the effort. Our team manager Kelsey ran the book like a champ!!

I am trying to get confirmation officially, but based on multiple sources reported today, long time Slammer and best friend to us all, Skip has passed away this weekend. It is reported to be in dirt bike accident doing something he absolutely loved.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office says a man died while driving an off-road vehicle on Sunday. Authorities say the 55-year-old man apparently drove off a cliff and was dead by the time rescuers found him.
