Game break shout out for my girl, 🔥 NAKAYLA 🔥who earned her THIRD opposing player’s choice MVP medal for the weekend!!! She took the circle in relief and pitched a gem, helping us to advance to the gold bracket semis. When she wasn’t pitching, she was running down balls in the outfield, keeping runs off the board for our opponents. She was 5/5 in CF, catching 3 on the run! #13, keep rollin baby! We’re so proud of you!

Our girls brought the 🔥 today to USA Softball’s Governor’s Cup. We went 2-1 today, collectively scoring 30 runs! Our defense showed up too, only giving up 4 runs throughout the day. Emilee Bowyer led the team with 8 hits. Tatum Smith and Maya Mulitauaopele each had 7. Today was fun, ladies! Stay hungry!

Our #8 and #91 both work incredibly hard outside of practice, to improve aspects of their game. Today at USSSA’s May Magic, they both saw that hard work and all the hours spent training, pay off a little bit. Dani pitched the best she ever has, and her bat remains 🔥 when it matters. Kenny only let 1 ball pass by her today behind the plate, and her blocks with RISP were extremely impactful. She had 2 monstrous hits today, on a day when hitting wasn’t a particular strength for the team as a whole. Girls, WE SEE YOU! Your teammates and Rippers families are so proud of you. Most importantly, you should be very proud of yourselves. With the work ethic that you both possess, there are no limits for you. 👀 🥎 👏

Does it ONLY rain on Saturdays? Another weird and amended schedule to roll with, but we played some solid ball! Addison, Cali, Dani, and Kylie each batted over .400 on the weekend. Kylie had multiple doubles, and Cali led the way in RBIs. Our girls went 2-2 against some stiff competition! Despite a strong battle, we came up a little short in the semis against a tough 14A team. These girls have a ton of heart, for sure!

We had hoodies and sunburn, rain and wind at the Diamonds R 4 Ever tournament this weekend! We fell one game short of the championship, but lots of great things to report. Cali Sheets led the way at the plate with the most hits (6) and RBIs (5) this weekend. Tatum Smith had 5 hits, and Emilee Bowyer had 2 extra base hits~one of which was her first over the fence home run!
Kylie Valois did her thang in the circle, collecting 2 wins and 8ks. Always proud!
