While we're getting our store ready to open, I thought I'd take some time to introduce Duffer's Discount Golf. These are my 2 best golfing buddies - my brother and my dad.

My dad was a true duffer. Mostly shot in the 90's, occasionally in the low 100's or high 80's for his entire life. But he always played the ball where it lies, never nudged it, didn't take mulligans and he counted every shot, or, should I say, all the shots that he remembered. It was easy to lose count on a few holes. He knew all the golf jokes and it was always a pure joy and a fun day to play with him.

I miss him. He passed a few years ago. But he taught me a love and respect for the game that lives on, and Duffers Discount Golf exists today in honor of his spirit.

We're in this for the golfers who would play 7 days a week if they could, and every day they get to play is a good day.

That's my dad. Who's your favorite golfing buddy?
