It’s never easy to say goodbye to something that’s meant so much. Thank you, Utah Twisters, for four unforgettable years.
This past weekend was one of those bittersweet moments I’ll never forget — our final tournament as the Utah Twisters. It’s hard to put into words what these past four years have meant to me. We went out just like true Twisters — giving it everything we had until the very end — and I couldn’t be prouder that we were the last Twister team standing.
When this journey started four years ago with Coach Nate (we’ll never forget you Coach ❤️) and Coach Darrin, I had no idea the impact this team would have on my life. Along the way, we added Coach Ryan and Coach Tonya, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done — the time, the effort, the support, and most of all, the love they poured into our girls and this team.
Over the years, we’ve had players come and go, but every single one of them has left a lasting mark on my heart. The friendships, the laughter, the tears, the long weekends at the ballfields, and all the memories we’ve shared — those are things I’ll carry with me forever.
Saying goodbye to this chapter is not easy. I’ve poured so much of my heart into this team, and while it’s time to move on to new opportunities, that doesn’t make it any less emotional. To every player who has ever worn a Twister jersey and family who has been part of this journey — thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for believing in our team, and for making these four years something truly special.
I’ll always be cheering for you.
