Kate - Our coach that specializes in softball has been coaching the sport (whether that be baseball or softball) sense 2010. She played D2 softball and was the starting pitcher for her team that she took to the National Championships. She broke multiple pitching records at her college and won an award for the best female athlete of her graduation year. After playing college softball she went on to
be the pitching coach at Strong Vincent Academy High School in Erie, Pennsylvania. While assisting as a pitching coach she also assisted at the college she graduated from as a volunteer coach. Sense moving back home to NY, she has been giving pitching and hitting lessons to softball players as well as hitting lessons to baseball players. The individuals that have been working with her have progressed immensely, being noticed by other coaches and umpires for their increase in velocity and the improvement of their command of their pitches. He coaches a team during the football season out of South Glens Falls, NY. Two years ago, he took the team to the Superbowl where they lost to Belmont-Schnectady. He was born and raised in Baltimore, MD where he played football for a private all boys academy. He is extremely passionate about the sport of football and the children he works with. Having a group of kids who are self-driven and want to get better is what keeps that spark alive for him. Seeing these young kids becoming stronger, faster, and more knowledgable within the game is his main goal. He has a way of really connecting with these athletes and motivating them to push themselves to the max. He focuses strongly on teaching the kids the proper mechanics and footwork to decrease the chance of injury. Having the proper knowledge of the sport of football is very important because of the safety concerns around the sport. With that being said, he makes sure each kid has a very good understanding of how to properly tackle, hit, and take a hit prior to any physical contact.
