We had a beautiful morning, robust turnout, and another magical hour together on Saturday morning, as we ushered in the energy from the east, and, after fortifying it with Maine Qi, sent it along to the west, keeping the global WTCQD wave moving with increasing strength across the planet. Thank you to all of those who showed up, helped out, spread the word- you all contributed to the wonderfulness of the morning.

It is always a unique experience to see so many Internal Arts enthusiasts in one place, combining practices to create an energy that is much greater than the sum of our individual cultivation. Add that to the global practice we all tap into, and the connective charge is very powerful. So cool.

On the last Saturday of April, T’ai Chi and Qigong enthusiasts world-wide gather in their communities to celebrate these ancient arts and to raise awareness of their potential for improving health and quality of life. A rainy morning in Brunswick. This April is the 20th Anniversary of WTCQD. 2019 marks sixteen years of this event on the Bowdoin College campus, and again featured a special guest, Zhong Xuechao (Master Bing), 15th generation Wudang Sanfeng Kungfu master.

World-wide event celebrating the Chinese Internal Arts. Including cities and rural communities around the globe, starting in the New Zealand time-zone at 10:00am, and working across time-zones each hour, we pick up the wave each year on the coast of Maine. This year we had a special guest, Zhong Xue Chao (Master Bing) and his family join us from Wudang Mountain, China. Morning celebration and weekend workshops. Great weekend!
