Aspen Ridge RV has been a part of the South Fork and Upper Rio Grande community for many years. We’re proud to provide an inviting environment for guests, family, and friends to come together and enjoy each other’s company surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Rio Grande National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness. Whether you’re here to hunker down and enjoy community around the campfire or just need a place to rest your head before hitting the trails, we’re your campground. We’re just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Rio Grande and not much further than that from all the amenities and comforts that South Fork provides. We love unwinding after a long day of adventure over a game of dominoes with our guests and sharing our favorite recipes with folks during our potlucks, and we always say the more, the merrier. We hope that everyone who drives up a visitor packs up feeling like part of the family.

Hullaballoo is always a highlight of our year! It’s so wonderful to have all these traveling families come and stay to play together every fall!!! We love all these traveling families wonderful connections that are made. So many good times! ♥️

⚠️UPDATE - 2:30 p.m. (11/1/26) - Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation area.

On Sunday (11/1/26) flooding has prompted several highway closures across Southwest & South-Central CO. Motorists should be prepared for additional safety closures where significant flooding is creating roadway hazards. Flooding of streams and rivers is currently ongoing and expected to persist through mid-week. Safety closures may be extended even after heavy rains have subsided due to rising water levels and highway damage.

⛔US 160, Wolf Creek Pass through South Fork (MP 157 to 187)
⛔US 160, Downtown Pagosa Springs, no thru traffic Pike Drive to east of US 84 (MP 142 to 145)
⛔US 160, Durango between US 550 junction and Lightner Creek Road (MP 80 to 83)
⛔US 160, Pagosa Springs to Yellow Jacket (MP 114 to 139)
⛔CO 151, Chimney Rock to Arboles (MP 27 to 30)
⛔CO 112, Rio Grande Bridge in Del Norte
⛔CO 17, New Mexico state line to Antonito (MP 0 to 39)
⛔CO 90, Utah state line to west of Bedrock (MP 0 to 10)

🚨Follow local law enforcement and emergency agencies for information about evacuations and assistance.

🛑🚙Motorists are urged to avoid travel during flood warnings or flood watches if possible. If you must travel, avoid driving through flooded areas and never drive through closure gates or barricades.

🚨 UPDATE: HIGHWAY 160 CLOSURE MOVED TO 2 PM

November 1, 2026 | 11:05 AM Closure Update

The closure of Highway 160 to traffic entering Pagosa Springs has been moved up from 4 p.m. to 2 p.m. TODAY.

Traffic will be allowed to LEAVE the area, but all incoming traffic will be stopped. Re-entry will NOT be permitted.

Traffic control points will be established at the following locations:
Highway 160:
• Highway 84
• 14th Street
• County Road 119
• County Road 500/Apache St. at the radio station
• Hurt Lane/Stollsteimer Road
• Oakridge Drive
Additional traffic control points:
• Cemetery Road (County Road 411) and Crestview Drive
• County Road 500 and Cascade

⚠️ Residents in designated evacuation zones should LEAVE NOW. Do not wait for floodwaters to rise.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – SANDBAGGING EFFORT

South Fork is seeking able-bodied volunteers to help pre-fill sandbags in preparation for the anticipated weather on Sunday and Monday.

WHERE: Rickel Arena, 170 Wharton Drive, South Fork, CO
WHEN: Please arrive by 1:00 PM. October 30th 2026.

Volunteer Safety & What to Bring:
**Work gloves
**Safety glasses
**Shovel
**Hat
**Sunscreen
**Snacks

Please dress appropriately for outdoor physical work, stay hydrated, and bring snacks to keep your energy up.
*Note: we are planning on conducting volunteer sand bag filling at Del Norte and Monte Vista on Saturday!
