Parents will tell you they are off to the football field to watch their kid play. Mrs. Vescio and I have always felt that we went to the field to watch 40 of our kids play! We are forever grateful to every single one of you, for allowing us to be a small part of your lives each football weekend. You will always be "our boys" and are forever CHAMPIONS in our hearts! We wish each of you tremendous success where ever your paths my lead you. Thanks to the entire coaching staff, for your dedication, and commitment to our children. A special thank you to coach Krumenacker, for allowing me the access on the sidelines, and getting me close enough to the boys, and the action, to be able to capture some awesome photographs of all our kids. Thanks to the Farmingdale school district, for their continued commitment to the team, especially during a time where the sport we so dearly love, seems to be under constant attack and scrutiny. To the marching band, Dallerettes, our lovely cheerleaders, and of course our mascot, Dale, it might not always be said, but we all appreciate your hard work, dedication, and support for the team!
To our seniors I will say " Thank you for all the years. I have watched you grow up between the goal lines and through my lens, and I am proud of the fine young men you all have become."
To the young men coming up next year, my son included, remember these boys, they are a shining example of Daler pride and what it is to be a part of the Dalers tradition of excellence! See you next year!"
Oh....wait...you didn't think I was going to leave out a little note to our Hawks football family...did you? You know who you are, and let me put this very simply," we love you guys"

Wow what a game...this is playoff football! A great team win against a Uniondale team that just wouldn't quit. The entire team put in a great effort, but a special kudos to our QB, Kevin for an exceptional game! This win is a bit of a double edged sword for our seniors as it marks the last game they will play on their home field. You boys have left a lot of sweat on that field after all these years, and your conduct out there has been an outstanding display of Daler pride. That conduct and pride has without doubt, earned all of you, your place in Farmingdale's tradition to excellence!
Well done boys, see you at Hofstra for the semi finals...lets show everyone that Hofstra is our house too!

A loss is always heartbreaking, but especially so, when its to your biggest rivals. The boys played their hearts out, but Pequa was ready for us, and we are certainly feeling the effects of way too many injuries. Keep your heads up fellas....Even with 10 of our boys sidelined we are still a force to be reckoned with! The Band and Daleretts put on another great half time show, and thanks always to the cheerleaders for coming out and trying to rally our boys!
I have a bunch more band, and Daleretts pictures to upload as soon as I finish editing them......check back.

Baldwin wanted this game in the worst way, but our boys would not be denied the win! With only a couple of minutes left in the game an amazing pass put us in the end zone and tied up the score, setting up the man with nerves of steel, to chip it through for the PAT, and the 1 point lead....that would be all we needed to put the lid on one of the best come back games we've ever had!

Hi everyone....I just want to apologize for not posting any pictures the past couple of weeks. I have been crazy busy....I wont go into it all but, birthday, anniversary, friends parties, concert, fishing, working, working 2nd job, working overtime............its been nuts and on top of that I replaced my computer....and if you have ever done that you know what a nightmare that can be...moving all your programs and files....its a chore....oh and lets not forget migrating 155,000 photos into the new lightroom, oh joy! So with that said Im back up and running and should start uploading pictures in the next few days.....thanks for understanding.
PS: on another sad note....i will not be at Fridays game, I have a previous work function. Sorry boys....play hard...lets go Dalers!

This was definitely not a walk in the park win for the boys, though the final score might indicate otherwise...22-8. East Meadow came out of the gate strong and took an early 8-0 lead, and kept our defense on the field all day, for what felt like eternity...but the boys held their ground and kept the Jets from finding the end zone for the rest of the game.....Our offense...as always.. pressed on whenever they had possession and put the points on the board, bringing home another victory....4-1 on the season!

The boys got back to their winning ways Thursday night defeating Syosset 33-0. It was homecoming and they shared the stage with some of the very most talented kids you will find anywhere. There was a lot going on...from the field presentation, the marching band performing, our Dalerettes, the cheerleaders putting on a show, the naming of homecoming king and queen to a prom proposal.....it was a great time for everyone!
Once again I have to apologize for the picture quality...these night games are a killer!
