We are excited to announce a very special training opportunity for our students!

We will be hosting a Lilli McGuire Traditional Sport Karate Seminar here at National Karate—an incredible chance to learn from one of the top competitors in sport karate today.

Lilli McGuire is known for her incredible kicking ability, balance, and precision technique, which have helped earn her multiple World Champion titles. This is a rare opportunity for our students to learn directly from someone competing at the highest level of the sport.

Seminar Focus:
This seminar will be centered around:

Stretching techniques to improve flexibility
Kicking drills to develop height, control, and power
Form sequences designed to elevate performance

What makes this seminar especially valuable is that everything being taught will not only benefit students in competition, but can also be applied directly to our National Karate curriculum.

Date: Sunday, May 17th
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: National Karate (South Elgin)

Cost:
$100 per student

A historic day in Texas! 🥋 We are thrilled to celebrate the promotion of Mr. Jamie Cashion to the rank of 10th Degree Black Belt, promoted by Mr. Pat Worley (Our own Mr John Worley’s brother)
Congratulations, Mr. Cashion, on reaching the pinnacle of martial arts. You are a special individual and a true leader in the community.

The founder of National Karate Schools is John Worley. A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. Worley began his martial arts training in 1967 under the tutelage of Charles Loven and Texas karate legend Master Instructor J. Pat Burleson. Mr. Worley was promoted to first degree black belt in 1969 after he completed a testing conducted by panel of several of America’s top martial arts instructors, including film star Chuck Norris.

In May 2014, in a ceremony attended by hundreds of students, black belt holders, and friends, John Worley and Larry Carnahan were promoted to the rank of tenth degree black belt, Grand Master, by American martial arts pioneer J. Pat Burleson. Tenth degree is the highest rank attainable and marks the final milestone in lives dedicated to the practice, teaching and promotion of the martial arts in Minnesota.

Today, I had the honor of being invited to speak with the Business Club at Wheaton Academy. It was an inspiring experience to share insights and discuss the future of business with such a bright and engaged group of students. Getting to meet some of our future leaders was truly the highlight!

A big thank you to DECA President Josie Schuldt for the invitation and for organizing such a fantastic session. I look forward to seeing the great things these young professionals accomplish.
