📍 Serving families in the St. Charles, South Elgin, Elgin, and surrounding Fox Valley communities.

This isn’t about collecting trophies at 11 years old.

This is about building baseball players the right way.

💙⚾️ Jacob Zonta #17 ⚾️💙

When I think of Jacob, the first thing that comes to mind is the kind of person he is. Jacob is one of the nicest young men you’ll ever meet. He’s soft-spoken, respectful, intelligent, and someone who puts everything he has into whatever he commits to.

Jacob isn’t the loudest guy in the room, but he leads by example. He shows up, works hard, stays coachable, and does things the right way. Those qualities will take him far beyond the baseball field.

If you’ve spent any amount of time around Jacob, you also know there may not be a bigger Chicago Cubs fan on the planet. We’ve had plenty of baseball conversations over the years, and his passion for the game is undeniable.

What I’ve always appreciated most about Jacob is his willingness to learn and grow. He’s the type of player every coach loves having in a program because you never have to question his effort, attitude, or character.

As he heads off to Xavier University to pursue a degree in Sports Marketing with a minor in Business, I have no doubt he’ll continue to be successful in whatever he chooses to do.

And honestly? I think one day we’ll see Jacob back in a Tier 1 uniform—not as a player, but as a coach. He has the knowledge, patience, character, and love for the game that make great coaches.

We’re incredibly proud of you, Jacob. Thank you for everything you’ve given to this program. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning.

💙⚾️ Carson Pignato #17 ⚾️💙

Every once in a while, a player comes through your program that every college coach dreams about. Carson is that guy.

I’ll never forget the very first time Carson reached out about setting up a tryout with Tier 1 Elite. Most kids ask what time practice starts… Carson asked if he could show up an hour and a half EARLY so he could get through his throwing program, arm care routine, mobility work, and stretching before getting after it. That told me everything I needed to know about him right away.

His work ethic is different. Calculated. Intentional. Elite.

Carson is the type of player that understands the game at a deeper level. He doesn’t just go through the motions—he attacks everything he does with purpose. The extra reps, the preparation, the discipline, the consistency… it all adds up.

But beyond the baseball side, Carson has a heart of gold. He’s incredibly funny, a great teammate, and one of those personalities that keeps the dugout alive. This past summer, I was involved in my first ever standoff after the national anthem… and of course Carson was the one out there leading it. 😂 (And yes… we won.)

This is a player that absolutely deserves the opportunity to compete at the next level. Waubonsee is getting a DAWG, and we couldn’t be more proud of the player and young man Carson has become.

Keep grinding, Piggy. The best is still ahead. 💪🔥

Today isn’t about a long weekend.
It’s about the men and women who gave everything for the flag on their shoulder and the country they loved.

Because of their sacrifice… we have the freedom to chase dreams, raise families, play the game we love, and live with purpose.

At Tier 1 Elite Baseball, we remember the fallen.
We honor the brave.
And we never take freedom for granted.

This Memorial Day, hug your family tighter, appreciate the life you’ve been given, and remember those who never made it home.

More than a jersey. More than a number.

This release is for a teammate, a brother, and a young man who left an impact that will never fade. Every player in our program will wear the JL9 memorial on the back as a reminder of what it means to love the game, love your teammates, and never take a single moment for granted.

Jack Larsen will forever be a part of Tier 1 Elite Baseball. And out of respect for the legacy he left behind, nobody will ever wear the number 9 in our program again. Not this season. Not next season. Not ever. That number belongs to Jack. Forever.

For every season to come, we will carry him with us in every pitch, every inning, every battle, and every win.

We’re also incredibly proud to partner with Genuine Valor for our uniforms this year. Their support, vision, and belief in what this program stands for helped bring something truly meaningful to life.

💙⚾️ Mateo Carr #99 ⚾️💙

Some people are built different. Mateo is one of those guys.

Life hasn’t always been easy for him, but through every challenge, every setback, and every tough moment, he’s continued to show up and put the work in. That says everything you need to know about his character. Mateo is resilient, tough, and refuses to let adversity define him.

He’s the type of athlete who works his ass off when nobody is watching. Quietly grinding. Constantly improving. Always chasing more. The growth we’ve seen from him on and off the field has been incredible, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young man he’s becoming.

There’s a fire in Mateo that can’t be taught. A competitor on the mound and an even better person away from the game.

Keep going, kid. The best chapters are still ahead. 💪🔥

💙⚾️ Brayden Hines #17 ⚾️💙

Brayden is the definition of hard work, discipline, and perseverance — both in the classroom and on the field. Last year, he battled through a season-ending injury, and instead of letting it define him, he attacked the recovery process with the same mindset he brings to everything he does. We’re beyond excited to see what he’s going to do for us this summer. 🔥

One thing that stands out about Brayden is the type of person he is. One of the most respectful, humble, and genuine young men you’ll ever meet. He loves the game of baseball the right way, and if you know him, you know we were always chopping it up about the Chicago Cubs. ⚾️🐻

Brayden is also a strong believer in Christ, and the way he carries himself reflects that every single day — with gratitude, character, and leadership.

Proud of you, Brayden. Keep chasing greatness. The best is still ahead. 💪🙏
