That’s a wrap on the 2026 Dennis Beaches Lifeguard Competition!

🏆 Northside takes the win with a final score of 57-40.

What an event! Thanks to all of our lifeguards for putting on an awesome competition and giving it everything they had. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch, cheered from the beach, or followed along with the live scoreboard. And a big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Cape Cones LLC tent for food and helped support the event!

Congratulations, Northside... enjoy the bragging rights for the year! We’ll see both sides next year for the rematch! See you at the 2027 competition!

Who’s ready for one of our favorite nights of the summer? The 2026 Dennis Beaches Lifeguard Competition is happening TONIGHT at 6:00 PM at West Dennis Beach!

Come watch the Dennis lifeguards compete in swimming, paddling, running, relays, and more as they battle for Northside vs. Southside bragging rights.

Now for the important question: are you Team Northside or Team Southside? Drop your pick in the comments before the competition starts and let’s see which side has the biggest fan base! 👀

Admission is FREE, and parking is FREE after 5:00 PM at West Dennis Beach, so grab your family, bring a beach chair, and come cheer everyone on!

Feeling hungry? Food will be available for purchase from the Cape Cones LLC tent, so you can grab a bite while you enjoy the competition.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this year’s Sand Sculpture Contest such a wonderful success!

First, we’d like to thank the Dennis Beach Committee for sponsoring this event, along with their incredible partners, the Friends of Dennis Recreation, the Dennis Chamber of Commerce, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to bring this fun community tradition to life. Your dedication and teamwork made this event possible.
