Brooks, has coaching experience in Judo, Kickboxing, Women's Self Defense, Boxing. Holds State and National Championships, Referee for Taekwondo Competitions. Has been teaching Martial Arts in the Volusia County Area for 20+ years. Class Schedule
Monday Coaches Training
Tuesday 5:00pm- 6:00pm - (9 to 12 yrs.)

6:00pm-7:30pm (13 to Adult)
Wednesday Coaches Training and Private Lessons
Thursday 5:00pm- 6:00pm - (9 to 12 yrs.) 6:00pm-7:30pm (13 to Adult)
Friday Private Lessons

On yesterday Brooks Martial Arts Academy had the opportunity to compete in the Zen Life Center Tournament. We had a wonderful time and place 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Traditional Forms, Continuous Sparring and 5 Station Board Breaking. Thank you to everyone that came out to support; and Thank you Master Hoehn and Zen Life Center for the invitation.

The purpose of sparring in Taekwondo is to apply techniques in a live, controlled environment, which helps with practical skills like speed, timing, and distance control. It tests mental and physical reactions, builds endurance. Sparring repairs students to handle stressful situations.

In tonight's class we will be sparring and pad work.
