POV. you’re a 20 year old high school dropout and you find out you’re about to change your families life because you locked in on the opportunity most people ignored. but not you. you took it and ran with it.

on a scale 1-10 how fired up did i look here? lol shed a tear watching this video last night. no one knew but i was sleeping on a bunk bed made for 8 year olds at that time. in south central LA. No one knew but that guy jumping up and down was about to take the #1 trophy home year after year.

you see winning isn’t about how smart you are , how talented you can be, how good you look. winning is determined by what’s inside the heart. deep inside are you tired of being tired? are you meant for more then just average and ordinary? something inside you just won’t let you settle? chase that feeling. don’t hide it under insecurity or fear or doubt.

all things are possible. i’m just a guy from the hood who wanted to be somebody; if i can do it you can do it too.

we used to walk around ikea and pretend like we had a home together. we would dream about one day having a home of our own. you would come visit me in the hood. and always made it clear you believed in me. you’d even come wash cars with me when i was out there hustling; you’d make a date out of it. and when i bought you that little michael kors bag and told you one day it’ll be chanel; and you didn’t laugh, you didn’t doubt me.
