Kicked off the first of five Road to the Crown races at Caraway Speedway the best way possible. 🏁

We brought two cars to the track this weekend to give ourselves the best shot possible, and it paid off. Laid down a solid lap in qualifying to put us on the pole, then redrew P1 with the top six invert.

We led early until the first caution, then lost the lead on the restart and settled into second. From there, it was anything but easy—had to run a lot harder than we wanted trying to chase down Thomas Beane, while also feeling the pressure from Coy Beard right behind us. Both of them had really fast race cars, and it made for some fun, clean, and respectful racing.

A late caution gave us another shot. We capitalized on the restart, got back out front, and drove it to the checkered flag on lap 99.

Can’t thank everyone enough at the track and back at the shop for busting it to get TWO cars ready and having us prepared.

Huge thank you to Dylan, Chase, Kenzie, Roger, Christian, Layne and Brandon for helping out all day. Thank you to my wife, Marissa for spotting.

Big thanks to Tim Triplett for the opportunity to drive the #70 car, and to Steve DeWalt for the power in both cars.

Most importantly, thank you to the Lord for allowing me to do what I love with people who mean the world to me.

Not the qualifying run we wanted… but we showed up when it counted.

Qualified P24 after missing it just a little, but once the green dropped, we had a fast hot rod. The race went caution-free for the first 84 laps and we were able to work our way up to P16 by that point. After going back green with a few late cautions, we kept digging and brought it home with a solid P10 finish.

Track position is everything in these races. If we had started a little further up, I truly believe we could’ve been fighting for an even better finish—but that’s racing. Still, I couldn’t be more proud of this team for the effort all weekend long.

Also had a fast piece under my dad, who was charging through the field before having to park it early due to radio trouble. Hate that for him because he definitely had something for them.

None of this would be possible without God guiding us every step of the way—beyond thankful for the opportunity to do what we love.

Huge thank you to Wendy’s and Delight Restaurant Group for coming on board this weekend—we appreciate the support more than you know!

Big thanks as well to Dawn and Roger Williamson for everything they’ve done for us, and to my uncle Dale, Dad, Christian Joyce, Dylan Sprinkle, Brandon Dunning and Brad Lewis for all the hard work and help at the track and the shop.

Back at Caraway Speedway this weekend for the first Road to the Crown race—see y’all there. 🏁

Locked. Loaded. Ready to roll.

We’re headed to Pulaski County Motorsports Park for the inaugural IHRA 225 with one goal in mind — chasing that $25,000 payday. Both cars are dialed in and ready to go to battle this weekend.

Huge thank you to Dawn and Roger Williamson for everything they’ve done for our team and helping make it possible for us to hit the track. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

We’re also fired up to welcome Wendy’s and Delight Restaurant Group on board with us, along with National Fire Protection coming on for Dad — we appreciate the support more than you know.

Big thanks to Dylan Sprinkle, Brad Lewis, Dean Ward, and DWP Shocks for getting our IHRA shocks dynoed and race-ready.

Personally, I’m beyond excited for the opportunity to race and bond with my dad this weekend — moments like this mean everything.

We’ve got an awesome group of friends and family behind us, and we’re ready to go have some fun and make memories.

And a big shoutout to IHRA for creating such a huge opportunity for short track racing — this is what it’s all about.

Let’s go racing 🏁

What a way to kick off the 61st season opener at Caraway Speedway! 🏁

Qualifying ended up getting rained out, so the field was set by practice times — which put us starting on the pole for the 75-lap Limited Late Model race. From there, the car was on a rail. We were able to lead every single lap and bring home the win in a caution-free race.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped out at the track and made this possible. It takes a great group of people behind the scenes to make days like this happen. A special thanks to Tim Triplett for the opportunity to drive his racecar.

We’ll be back at Caraway Speedway on March 28th for the first Road to the Crown event of the season. See you all there! 🏆
