This was only a 70% intensity strength training workout (Heavier lifts = higher HR/calorie burn)
And strength training builds muscle that helps burn more calories over time. Residual benefits.
I’m not saying cardio doesnt have benefits. But I am saying as we get older, it’s more important to build muscle and function/move better and without pain.
Get out of the calorie burn mindset and focus on strength.

Circuit training and supersets can be great for time constraints, but I generally find people end up doing fast movements with improper form leading to injury.
