I just got a cancellation for next Monday and Tuesday! These are the only two days we have open in November! Who want them?

Dear Fellow Anglers,

Who is ready to chase the fall monsters? I hope summer has treated you well and you are ready for the upcoming fall runs.

Smallmouth fishing is still excellent with poppers and streamers, but as the weather changes, we will also see pike fishing pick up. Additionally, the salmon and steelhead runs will push in strongly over the next week. The cold rain we are getting will kick these fall runs into high gear, and we are ready for the shift!

King and coho salmon, along with summer-run steelhead, will quickly transform this river and shift our focus to autumn migratory fish. September is such an incredible month because smallmouth, pike, salmon, steelhead, and brown trout are all excellent options. The coolest thing about this river is its variety, and fall truly shows it.

We still have some great fall dates open, so get out there and chase these fantastic fall fish with Ripple Guide Service. We provide everything you need and love to teach the sport of fly fishing. If you are new to the sport, no worries; we will teach you everything you need to know.

If you like topwater action the time is now. The river is low and clear and the fish are looking up! Yesterday was a great day to be chasing smallmouth.

Dear Fellow Angler,

As the water drops, warms up, and clears, the fishing has really picked up! The popper fishing has improved every day this week, and the streamer fishing has too. With all of the high water, June was a tough month for smallmouth bass, but the last few days have been exactly what they should be this time of year. It has been easy fishing for feisty fish!

I still have some great dates open in July, and August is pretty open as well. From here on out, we will normally concentrate on popper fishing on the St. Joe River. Pike fishing on the smaller rivers is always an option too, because they stay colder than the St. Joe.

Speaking of other fish, our fall steelhead and salmon dates are starting to fill up. November, in particular, is getting tight. If you want a fall date, it definitely isn't too early to book.

Have a great day, and I hope to see you on the river soon!

There isn't anything quite like watching kids enjoy the river. Zayden and Lincoln enjoyed every aspect of being out on the water. They saw eagles, Osprey, muskrats, and all sorts of other wildlife. Oh, and they saw some fish too! These two are welcome back in my boat anytime!

What's not to love about toothy fish crushing flies on a beautiful river?

It's always cool to hear that someone catches their personal best with us. The smallmouth fishing has been very good and a personal best was put in the boat!

The smallmouth fishing is hot right now!

Doesn't surprise me at all. What a crazy spring!
