Great day yesterday at High Plains - well the weather wasn't great, but the car performed spectacularly! P2 in the morning and P1 overall in the afternoon. 5th year in a row we have won a session at one lap!

We are second overall, about halfway done, but the challenge of Road America looms large. We know the car can't do full power for all three laps at Road America but we will try everything we can! Mountain Pass Performance Martian Wheels Goodyear

Back once again... heading out on the One Lap in 2026. Looking forward to a great week with the One Lap family - the field this year is very very strong. Thank you to Mountain Pass Performance and Martian Wheels and Goodyear for once again supporting the effort. Ping us for tips on tracking EVs, Teslas or Bucees locations along this year's route... This year's route takes us across the middle of the country and back starting and finishing at Tire Rack HQ in South Bend with 6 stops at road courses, a drag race, and an oval!

Some new Plaid products for all the fans out there. The power control and suspension have been on our car for a while and are fantastic upgrades for the car. With the full complement of MPP electronics and suspension parts the car is completely different than stock, it goes from a muscle sedan to a corner carver! Please contact us (or MPP!) with any questions regarding the new options.

Finally made it to the Ultimate Track Car Championship sponsored by Grassroots Motorsports Magazine and Tire Rack! Thanks to Tom Suddard and the crew at GRM for the invite - we've tried to make this for a few years and finally the timing worked out.

UTCC has lots of fast cars, but we were able to run up near the front - the only car that beat us is a full aero Mustang with 800-900hp on Hoosier slicks! Really were happy to come in 2nd.

Sports Car Club of America Time Trials Nationals right after was fun, we had a great run group, very few issues and were able to learn over time how to optimize the car. The track surface seems to get worse and worse through the week, so not getting up to speed right away cost us, but on the last day in the morning with improved driving we were able to get the track record and be the only car in our class in the 1:46's. With a good track surface we thought a 45 might have been possible...

Pitt Race is a great facility, so sad to see that it's being closed after this year. We've had fun learning the track the last few years and setting some fast times.

Thank you to Mountain Pass Performance for the help with the electronics and suspension updates this year, and for all the help over the years building and prepping an amazing car for us to go run!
