When dog(s) like to bark, react to activity or someone comes or goes, the kennel can be noisy. Most dogs in the kennel do their barking during the day, Max likes to bark at night and sleep during the day and most days around here are peaceful & fairly quiet... But today was different!

Ivy always works with a happy attitude. It's funny because when they come in Ivy tries to charge in and she always looks like she is out of control. All it takes for the nonsense to end is for Dave to give her a command.

That is their agreement, whatever Dave allows is Dave's decision. But when he gives a command, he means NOW! Keeping it fun is why Dave has been so successful!

I was asked earlier today if I could help their family train their JRT. Yes, it can easily be done IF the method you use makes sense to the dog.

This is the 4th day since Nutmeg's arrival. She is doing well and learning lots.

Pouring down rain doesn't stop us from learning, teaching & enjoying our dogs! My rule is that we train above what we actually need and will accept. In that way, our dogs are still awesome even if we are not.
