Meet your instructor: Cassi

We’re so excited to welcome Cassi to the Journey Mindfully community!

Cassi is a yoga and mat Pilates instructor who brings a grounding, healing-centered approach to her classes through mindful movement, breathwork, and sound. Her intention is to help students feel stronger, more connected, and more at peace. Both on and off the mat.

You can expect her classes to feel supportive, intentional, and rooted in connection with your body and breath.

Join Cassi for our new 4-week Beginner Pilates: Foundations + Intuitive Movement series beginning Wednesday, June 24 from 5:00–5:50 PM.

Sarah Paxson is a Pilates and yoga instructor. She has been teaching yoga since 2008 and found Pilates 10 years later. She loved the way Pilates brought alignment and strength to her physical practice. She received her Mat Pilates certification from NETA in 2022 and received her Balanced Body Reformer 1&2 certification in August 2025. Sarah wants her students to walk out of class feeling taller, stronger and aligned.

While yoga was always her first love, Pilates has become an integral and necessary part of her fitness routine. Sarah loves how both disciplines emphasize mind body connection and full body integration, which is an important facet of both physical and mental health. Sarah’s favorite part about teaching is helping students feel better mentally and physically and helping students understand that moving our bodies is a privilege and not a punishment.

1) Pilates Principles and Fundamentals. In this 4-week series, we will mindfully incorporate the 6 Pilates principles: Control, Concentration, Centering, Precision, Flow, Breathing.
2) Pilates Sculpt/Powerhouse Series. In this follow-up 4-week serious we will focus on strength strengthening the abdominal muscle muscles, lower back hips, and glutes (AKA the “Powerhouse”).

Hi, I’m Kennedi! Founder of Journey Mindfully, chiropractor, yoga instructor, and now a mom to my first son, born in January 2026.

Yoga has been a lifelong practice for me, and my work as a chiropractor with training in the Body Ready Method®, Webster Technique, and prenatal yoga has deepened my love for helping people understand and reconnect with their bodies.

This series is especially meaningful to me because it’s also part of my own journey back into movement, strength, breath, and presence after birth while bonding with my son and encouraging healthy movement from the very beginning.

My hope is that this class gives you the same kind of space: a chance to move, breathe, reconnect with yourself, and share something beautiful with your baby.
