Misty Morn The Misty Morn has been fishing the Raritan bay and its surrounding waters for 40 years!

She is a clean and spacious 62ft Arrow Yacht that offers fishing trips to the public, private charters and cruises. The Misty Morn is a 62ft party boat custom built in 1993 by Arro Yachts in Arundel, Maine. Her deadrise design, along with her low profile and solid fiberglass hull, make her a very stable fishing platform. She was re-powered with brand new John Deere engines in 2009, giving her enou

gh speed to get to the fishing grounds in ample time. There is enough room for up to 66 anglers, along with separate accommodations for both men and women. If fishing just isn't your thing, we have a top deck that can be used for sunbathing. Our cabin is spacious, air conditioned, and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator in our snack-bar. We take pride in maintaining the Misty Morn and being one of the cleanest party boats in the bay.

Today’s conditions were less than ideal, but the crew at the rail prevailed. We had a slide most of the day with certain points seeing drift speeds at 2kts. Way too fast. All in all it was a decent day with 90 shorts seen with 6 keepers coming home.

The morning’s open boat trip had good short action for most of the day. We wound up catching 45 shorts and brought home 4 keepers. The end of the day became a struggle once the tide started cranking.Luckily by that time it was time to head back to the dock.

Joe Stolarvold won the pool with a 2.4oz fluke. He was also the days high hook.

The evening trip started off with a nice rain shower and a perfect drift. We had most of our action on the first drift with 25 shorts seen, a couple croakers and a dolphin show. One keeper made its way back to the dock with us. After the initial rain shower. It was a real beauty of a night!

Today's Charter The Yearly Tide was aboard for the first time. Very nice group and it was a pleasure having them aboard. Started the day with 2 keeps on the first drift, and things slowed on the next 2 drifts. We made a move and found a few more keepers ending the day with 7 and plenty of shorts.

Today we had the Bartel Landscaping crew out for a day of fishing. Well things started off with a slow bite even with the shorts. Decided to revisit some spots from last week and the bite was a big improvement, but still dominated by the wee ones. Big Barry and Mr Sullivan landed the only two keeps of the day.

We had 13 patrons out today mostly regulars with a few new faces on the fluke grounds. Shorts were plentiful keeping everyone busy and 9 keepers managed to hit the filet board. James Rampino took the pool with 3.5 lber, 2oz Roy and Tommy AkA
Tangles were tied for high hook each landing two keepers. We will be sailing open 7 AM Sunday and Monday. Last night trips for Fluke Wed- Thurs- Sat and Sun- all leaving at 4:30.

Weekend recap
Saturday we had Pierson Materials Corp aboard for a company Charter. Most of the day we picked away at shorts with an odd keeper mixed in. A late day drift in a new location helped make the best trip of the week with a dozen keeps coming over the rails. Sunday the Siessel party was aboard for a pick of shorts and a handful of keepers.
Magic hours our 4:30 trips on Saturday and Sunday were dominated by shorts. Saturday trip saw 2 keeps and Sunday only one. 0As a reminder to everyone please make a reservation for trips. We like to sail with 10 people, you can call, text or book online. This allows us to cancel the night before and gives you the ability to make other plans if necessary.
