Sanford's Martial Arts

Sanford's Martial Arts Karate is not just about kicking and punching. Our school also emphasizes character development. We teach that, "Karate Begins and ends with Respect."

Our school offers a well-rounded Traditional Martial Arts program concentrating on Shorinji-Ryu, a style of Okinawan Karate. Character development is placed at the forefront of our teachings with the underlying theme of Respect. Our staff of certified professional instructors are devoted to helping students increase their fitness, stamina and strength, as they achieve a new level of mind and body

coordination and confidence. Our excellent self-defense training integrates the kicking, punching, striking and blocking skills of Karate, along with the joint locks, arm bars, submission holds and movements of Aikijujutsu. We also offer a Tai Chi program. Classes are offered and geared towards all ages and experience levels, including Pre-Karate (4-6 yrs. old), Youth Basic, Youth Intermediate, Youth Advanced, Adult Basic and Adult Advanced.
