What can I say about our last race of the season? It definitely was not up to our standards. Orange County Speedway was not an easy track for our series. After several spins by multiple cars, and one contact leaving the car wobbly in the rear, the most we could hope for was to be able to finish. We ended out night in 4th place, too short for the Championship but strong enough to place second in points.
If you've been following our season, We started at a 100 pt deficit when we missed the second race of the season. Weston was able to recover and take lead in points after only four races. He maintained this lead up till the next to last race of the season. For that, the experienced gained, and the friendships made, we consider this season a huge success. It has been an honor racing with the Allison family, Getting to know and listen to stories from their adventures, getting tips from Mr Donnie and his family, those will not be forgotten.
We want to thank our sponsors who helped make this season possible. It speaks a great deal about these business owners character who saw a young man with drive and commitment and chose to support his efforts.
