Ken Kurtz won the GT class in the Hyundai Genesis over some tough competition.
Things didn’t look good as the Genesis showed no oil pressure right after qualifying but the team quickly found the problem and replaced the faulty pressure sensor overnight and had the car ready for battle against a beautiful Mustang and a super fast Camaro. At the end Kurtz drove a trouble free race and found himself on top of victory circle.

Ben Penn wins Sportsman by 4.2 seconds over Andy Chittum after 2.5 hours of racing with a gamble in strategy.

Chittum was faster with a beat lap of 1:49.515 over Penn’s 1:52.062 but Penn went for a fuel saving strategy and did not pit for fuel. The BMW was struggling at the end the team were ready for a last minute stop on the closing laps but Penn hung on as Chittum almost set a lap record hunting him down in the MX5.
