I’ve been getting a few questions about Reconnect to Desire… so I wanted to share what this actually is.

This isn’t just a workshop where you sit and listen. It’s a live space. A space where you slow down enough to hear yourself again.

Inside, we’re not trying to “figure everything out.” We’re looking at what’s actually happening when you feel stuck between wanting something and not moving toward it.

We’ll explore:
- what your desire actually feels like in your body,
- what your protector sounds like when it shows up, and
- what it means to give yourself permission, in a real, grounded way.

There are moments of reflection, some guided practices, and space to actually feel into what’s coming up for you.

Not rush past it.
Not override it.
But understand it.

And what I’ve seen and experienced myself is that when that happens, something shifts.

You leave with:
- a clearer sense of what you want,
- a better understanding of what’s been holding you, and
- a way to take a step forward that actually feels like you.

This is for you if you’ve been feeling that pull but not moving. If you’ve been circling the same thoughts, the same questions. If you know something is there but you can’t quite access it.

Reconnect to Desire is next Tuesday 4/14.

If this feels like something you need right now, you’re welcome to join me.

If you’ve been feeling a little lost when it comes to what you want; you’re not alone.

Maybe you used to know. You used to feel clear, decisive, even bold in your choices. And now… it’s quieter.

You find yourself overthinking.
Second-guessing.
Or just not moving.

Not because you don’t care.
But because something in you is trying to protect you.

And when that happens, desire doesn’t disappear, it just gets harder to hear.

In the “Reconnect to Desire” workshop, we’ll explore:

- the difference between desire and the protector
- how to reconnect with your body (instead of staying in your head)
- how to find your own “go ahead” in a way that actually feels safe

This isn’t about forcing clarity. It’s about creating the conditions where clarity can return.

Sign up for the virtual workshop Reconnect to Desire on 4/14.

I think what’s been hitting me the most is this…

When we don’t reconnect with our desire, we don’t just stay still, we stay in hesitation. We keep circling the same thoughts, the same questions, the same “should I/shouldn’t I,” and time moves but we don’t.

Not because we’re incapable but because something in us doesn’t feel safe enough to move. And I’m realizing that matters.

Because what we want doesn’t go away; it just gets quieter.

So, if you’ve been feeling stuck in that space knowing something is there, but not moving toward it, this is exactly what I’m holding space for in Reconnect to Desire.

If you see yourself in this, you’re welcome to come.

“I’ve been lost before, trying to know the truth…”

That line has been sitting with me as I rehearse for my show this week. Because if I’m honest, reconnecting to what I want hasn’t been a straight path. It’s been a lot of circling, a lot of listening, a lot of moments where I feel it and then question it.

And I’m realizing that’s not a lack of clarity.

That’s protection.

That’s the part of me trying to keep me safe, while another part is trying to move me forward.

This is exactly what I’ve been exploring in my life and in my work.

My show is in a week and a few days after that, I’m hosting the virtual workshop, Reconnect to Desire. It’s a space to understand what’s actually happening when you feel stuck between wanting something and not moving toward it.

If that resonates, I’d love to have you there.

What I’m starting to realize is that reconnecting with desire doesn’t mean you suddenly become fearless. It means something else shifts.

You stop second-guessing every step.
You stop forcing yourself to “figure it out.” You stop waiting to feel 100% ready. (Whew!)

And instead you start to trust yourself again. You move not all at once, not perfectly, but in a way that feels aligned to you (and your body, mind and soul).

There’s less pressure, less noise, less internal fighting, and more clarity, more steadiness, more of YOU.

That’s what changes.

And that’s the space I’m creating inside the virtual workshop, Reconnect to Desire on 4/14.

I’ve been thinking about who this workshop is really for…

It’s for you, if you feel desire but you don’t act on it. You know there’s something you want; there’s something pulling at you, but when it comes time to move, you pause.

You think about it. You go back and forth. You question if it’s the right time, the right decision, the right step. And before you know it, you’ve stayed where you are. Not because you don’t care, but because something in you is holding you.

If you’ve been feeling that pull forward and that hesitation at the same time, this is for you.

You are not alone and I know this feeling. This is why I created the workshop, Reconnect to Desire.

We will explore this and more on 4/14.

03/28/2026

What I’m learning is that before I can move toward what I want, I need to know that I’m okay first. Not permission from anyone else. Just something that reminds me I’m still here, still grounded, still me.

An anchor.

Something that brings me back into myself when the protector gets loud and everything feels like too much.

For me that’s been a few things - family/friends, learning, exploration and creativity.

Especially creativity! There’s something about stepping into that space even in the smallest way that does something the other things can’t always do. It quiets the noise, not completely, but enough. Enough for something to open up inside me. Enough for what felt far away or too risky to start feeling like something I could actually reach. The fear didn’t disappear, but I’m no longer standing inside it.

And from that place I can hear myself again. I can say to myself, “go ahead,” and not all at once, not perfectly, just enough to take one step toward what I actually want.

If you’ve been feeling this too, like your desire is there, just quiet…

I’d love for you to join me on 4/14 for the “Reconnect to Desire” workshop.

Not to push or figure everything out…
but to slow down, connect to your anchor and hear yourself again.

So you can take that next step, your way.

As I prepare for my show in about two weeks, I’m realizing that the songs I’m choosing to perform, whether from my discography or covers, are about longing and acceptance. Even the lyrics above from the band Foreigner, “I’ve gotta take a little time, a little time to think things over,” are what’s resonating for me this morning; making sure that we do take time to think things through and understand what’s happening in our body and mind.

In the post yesterday, I mentioned listening to the two voices (the protector and inner leader), pausing, and asking what’s needed in this moment.

I just did that, and here’s what each is saying…

The protector needs safety and to feel confident. The inner leader needs to feel free and not confined by what’s expected.

As I put in place what both need, here’s the action plan: I need to rehearse more, play with the tones and movement, connect with my body and emotions through the music and meditation, make sure I don’t overschedule myself the week of the performance (ease is a good thing), and choose a bangin’ outfit (lol).

This is a reminder to take that time to pause and listen, like, truly listen to yourself, and honor both the protector and inner leader. This is what we’re going to explore in the workshop, “Reconnect to Desire.”

If this resonates, I’d love for you to join me on 4/14. Link in bio.

If this resonates, this is exactly the space we’re opening up in the workshop “Reconnect with Desire”.

Not to push past resistance.
Not to bypass fear.
But to understand it.
Integrate it.
And move from a place that actually feels true to ourselves.
