🥘👨‍🍳Stuffed Peppers👩‍🍳🥘

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A delicious keto dish for the whole family!

Ingredients:
🔸1 teaspoon dried oregano
🔸1 teaspoon paprika
🔸1 teaspoon salt
🔸¼ teaspoon pepper
🔸2 tablespoons avocado oil
🔸1 lb ground beef
🔸1 medium onion chopped
🔸3 cloves garlic minced
🔸1 tablespoon tomato paste
🔸1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
🔸1.5 cups brown or cauliflower rice
🔸6 bell peppers tops and cores removed
🔸1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
🔸Freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:
▪️Preheat oven to 400° F.
▪️Heat the oil in a large 10.5” skillet over medium high heat.
▪️Add the beef and spices to the skillet and brown for 5-7 minutes before adding in the onion and garlic.
Cook another 4-5 minutes until the onion starts to soften.
▪️Add in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and cauliflower rice. Cook 5 minutes, then divide the mixture between the peppers and top with cheese.
▪️Wipe out the skillet then place the filled peppers in the skillet, cover and bake for 30 minutes, uncover and bake another 10 until the cheese is bubbly.
▪️Top with parsley and serve.

🕺 Your proprioception, or sense of physical self, is what allows you to move naturally throughout the world, participate in physical activity, and be sure that your limbs will be in the right place to move you correctly.

🦿 You receive proprioceptive signals from all over your body, via your muscles, tendons and joints.
🤸🏼‍♂️ A good sense of proprioception can improve your balance and coordination as well as your physical capabilities!

🏋🏼‍♂️ You can train to improve your body's ability to read its proprioceptive signals by using exercises that specifically challenge you to be aware of how your body is moving and how it is positioned.

🤹🏼‍♂️ Balance exercises can improve your ability to evenly distribute your weight and keep you from toppling over.

👁️ Try closing your eyes—To improve your proprioceptive signals, you can practice simple exercises with your eyes shut to focus on the sensations being sent throughout your body.
🧘🏼‍♂️ By allowing yourself to focus on them, you can notice more parts of your body than you usually do, and develop a more instinctive knowledge of how you're positioned.

🦾 Try adding load—particularly strength exercises that work on critical joints, such as your knees and shoulders—can make a significant difference in your coordination and your proprioceptive senses.

❌ Many people tend to avoid pain. It’s understandable, right?
It is so much easier to avoid pain than it is to learn to push through it.

🔱 But in truth, there is nothing more beneficial for our overall well-being, happiness and success than increasing our pain tolerance. Our lives actually become easier once we are able to deal with pain more effectively.

🚧 If you are unwilling to push the boundaries of your pain tolerance consistently, you may live without knowing what it is like to achieve or experience anything close to your fullest potential!

😵 People who can’t tolerate pain lead lives that are exemplified by either living in constant fear of being hurt or doing anything to avoid pain–even at the detriment of their hopes and dreams.

🥅 And I’m not referring to physical pain, I am mainly referring to our willingness to push through temporary emotional discomfort to reach our goals...any goal that’s worth having in this world is probably going to hurt a little initially.

🥊 But here’s what absolutely will hurt in the long-run: Consistently using the anticipation of pain as an excuse to stay stuck in a smaller life than the one you deserve.

🩹 The only way to lessen pain’s effect over your life is to experience it!

🛡️ Once you fight through pain, the pain shrinks and your pain tolerance expands...
And once your pain tolerance expands, you become more willing and able to experience more of life!
💃 That includes trying new things, practicing things that you’re not good at, doing something that scares you a little, learning not to take yourself so seriously, and most of all, living life to the absolutely fullest while you’re alive and able to do so.

👊 Starting today, let’s commit to take action to push through our pain.
Yes, it will hurt- But when we get to the other side of the pain, we will be changed forever.
🌎 And it’s that new person who will have the power to positively change the world, and more importantly, your own world too!

🥢🥗Chinese Chicken Salad🥗🥢

🍊 With so many layers of flavor and so many delicious textures, this Chinese Chicken Salad with Almonds is a perfectly satisfying warm weather meal!

📝Ingredients
For salad:
🔸4 cups diced, cooked chicken
🔸½ cup Red Cabbage, chopped
🔸1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
🔸½ cucumber, sliced
🔸4 green onions, sliced
🔸1 cup mandarin oranges, drained
🔸1 cup sliced Almonds
🔸1 cup Chinese chow mein noodles

For the Orange Sesame Dressing:
🔹¼ cup sesame oil
🔹¼ cup olive oil
🔹½ cup fresh orange juice
🔹1 tablespoon rice vinegar
🔹1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
🔹1 teaspoon stevia
🔹1 teaspoon salt
🔹Freshly ground pepper to taste

📝Instructions
To prepare dressing:
▪️Add all ingredients to a jar with a tight lid and shake until completely combined. Refrigerate for up to 1 week.
To prepare salad:
▪️In a large bowl, toss together chicken, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, onions, and oranges.
▪️Add enough of the dressing to lightly coat. Chill, covered, for up to 2 hours (or serve immediately).
▪️When ready to serve, divide evenly between four plates and garnish with almonds and chow mein noodles.
