While our National teams head to Sky High for one final tune-up before Nationals, three more DVA teams will be in action this weekend.

🏐 A mixed roster featuring athletes from 12 Elite, 13 Elite, and 13 Fire.

🏐 16 Fire joined by a guest from 14 Elite.

🏐 13 Phoenix, our Summer National Select team, bringing together athletes from three different clubs for the first time.

Different teams.
Different goals.

This weekend marks the third of three extremely challenging events we've put in front of these teams as we prepare for the biggest tournament of the season.

The goal was never to take the easy road.
The goal is to be our best.

🏐 10 YEARS OF DVA 🏐

Ten seasons ago, DVA started in a small gym with a simple belief:

Growth matters.

Our first 12U team didn't win a single set all spring.

A few years later, many of those same athletes helped DVA win its first AAU Bid Event Championship.

The following season, they finished 9th at AAU Nationals.

Along the way, we've competed alongside teams from the top programs in the region, earned five Top 10 finishes at AAU Nationals, gone 5-1 in Challenge Matches at Nationals, celebrated our first All-American, and watched countless athletes achieve goals they once thought were out of reach.

But the results aren't what make us proud.

What makes us proud is that every season has been better than the one before it.

Not because the road was easy.
Not because we avoided adversity.
But because our athletes, coaches, and families embraced a growth mindset and continued to move forward.

And the best is yet to come.

In her first season with DVA, Coach Jackie quickly made a lasting impact on her athletes and our club.

Transitioning from winter to spring season, she welcomed four new athletes while helping seven returning players continue their development. Blending a roster is not easy. Coach Jackie handled the challenge with enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care for our athletes.

She was firm when needed, fair at all times, and deeply invested in the success of her team. She created an environment where athletes could thrive both on and off the court.

Congratulations to Coach Jackie, DVA's 2026 Premier Coach of the Year.

🏐 DVA High School Premier 🏐

15 Fire • 15 Ice • 16 Ice

The season has come to an end for our High School Premier teams.

These athletes embraced every challenge thrown their way. Playing up in older divisions, competing with mixed rosters, and stepping into unfamiliar roles when needed. Along the way, they brought home multiple tournament championships and proved that growth often happens outside of your comfort zone.

More importantly, these athletes developed the skills, confidence, and competitive mindset needed for the next step in their volleyball journey.

For some, that means earning a spot on their high school JV or Varsity team. For others, it means preparing to compete in our National program next season.

Their season may be over, but their journey continues.
