Day 1 is in the books.

✅ Defeated AZ Sky 12 Gold
✅ Defeated SoCal VBC 13-Cardiff
✅ Battled AVA TX 13 Adidas

Headed into Day 2 with a 2-1 record and still chasing Gold.

The competition only gets tougher from here.

They've already competed against teams from Arizona, Southern California, and Texas. Today brings another round of top competition, including the number 2 overall seed in the tournament.

What a start!

Entering the tournament as the 3 seed in their pool, 13 Phoenix opened competition with back-to-back victories to guarantee they remain in the Gold Division tomorrow.

✅ 26-24, 25-23 vs. AZ Sky 12 Gold (1 seed)

✅ 25-14, 23-25, 15-8 vs. SoCal VBC 13-Cardiff (2 seed)

They've already improved their tournament seed from 95 to 31 out of 120 teams.

And they're not done yet. X-over match up next.

Today begins a new adventure for our Summer National Select team.

Athletes from 3 different clubs.
3 athletes playing up from 12U.
And for every athlete on this roster, their first national-level tournament.

No matter what happens this week, these athletes have already stepped outside their comfort zone and challenged themselves to compete at the highest level.

This group has faced its share of challenges this season. They continue to show up, compete, and support one another.

After a tough start to the weekend, 16 Fire responded with a strong Sunday finish, going 2-1 and earning a 3rd Place finish in the Silver Bracket.

Winning is hard. This team refuses to quit in its pursuit of better results.

While our National teams head to Sky High for one final tune-up before Nationals, three more DVA teams will be in action this weekend.

🏐 A mixed roster featuring athletes from 12 Elite, 13 Elite, and 13 Fire.

🏐 16 Fire joined by a guest from 14 Elite.

🏐 13 Phoenix, our Summer National Select team, bringing together athletes from three different clubs for the first time.

Different teams.
