We are excited to welcome Will Schmidt as the new Head High School Coach for Somerville Wrestling!

Coach Schmidt brings NCAA Division I experience as a former volunteer assistant coach and 2x team captain at Sacred Heart University.

He’s already talking about how to elevate and up-skill our high school program, paired with a proactive approach to youth development that will strengthen our pipeline for years to come.

We couldn’t be more excited to have a coach with his skill set join our program. As he builds out his staff, the future is bright for Somerville Wrestling.

A huge congrats goes out to two of our Somerville Jr. Pioneers wrestlers, Maura N. and Aarohi K., who placed 3rd and 4th respectively in the NJ Scholastic State Championship today!! We couldn’t be more proud!!
