Universal Tao Boston, School of Taoist Practices Universal Tao Boston, School of Taoist Practices.

At the Universal Tao Boston (formerly the Boston Healing Tao), we offer all the core tools you need to know for centering and balancing your life force energy or Chi, found within GrandMaster Mantak Chia's Healing Tao system. The Universal Healing Tao practices are derived from ancient Taoist and Buddhist techniques rooted in the processes of nature and are linked to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
They have been gathered and integrated into a coherent, accessible system for well-being. The Healing Tao is not a religion and does not require the belief in any set of deities or gods. The aim of the Healing Tao is to restore the individual to a condition of harmony with the flow of the forces of nature. Master Chia's method of teaching is direct and practical. At the Universal Tao Boston School of Taoist Practices we teach ancient and essential tools centering on your own ability to self-heal. These practices require a willingness to take responsibility for one's own health and wellness and asks you to be proactive in your own healing process. We offer Medical Chi Kung techniques as is taught in clinics throughout Asia and exercises centering on developing Chi (or Qi), flow such as:

Relaxation methods for centering, guiding Chi and techniques to emit Chi/energy to heal yourself and others. Do you ever feel like a Human Doing instead of a Human Being? We also teach methods for learning the natural state of BEING PRESENT.

A New Tai Chi class for the Summer: RAINY DAY TAI CHI taught by both Jamee Culbertson and special guest of course - Marie Favorito STARTS IN JUNE!

Rainy Day Tai Chi is a shortened condensed version of the yang style long form. When you have inclement weather and have to go indoors to practice, or simply have less room in which to practice, Rainy Day Tai Chi is the perfect movement series to learn.

Improve balance
Increase breath capacity
Increase your brains ability to focus
Enjoy moving with more energy!

Rainy Day is a combination of the Yang Style Long Form, movements done left and right - which makes it perfect for a tai chi online program! There are no concerns about having to turn around and not be able to see the computer screen.

Although the internal and external martial arts both have internal and external elements, it should be clear that the external martial arts are based on the energy of movement, whereas the internal martial arts are based on the movement of energy.
