Brewer Lady Patriot basketball has a history of high level success that ranks it as one of the top programs in North Alabama. The Lady Patriot basketball program has won nineteen Morgan County Championships, along with six Final Four trips including a state runner-up in 2009, and a State Championship in 2012. Eleven athletes have been elected as All-State basketball players and dozens have gone on

to play basketball in college. We are super proud of our historic tradition and are excited to add more championships in the future.

In this picture you will see some smiles, red faces, tears, and a lot of sweat. You also see injured players, and do not see some that couldn’t be with us because of circumstances out of their control. However, this team ended the season last night. It did not end how we wanted, but we can be sure of a few things. We came together through this season. We may not have always seen eye to eye, but we learned to trust each other on and off the court. We have battled: through injury, surgery, and things that we never dreamed of. Finally, we have believed: in the process, in each other, and that we were getting better (even if we had to take a step back first). This group of young ladies will always have a profound impact on my life, because they were my first varsity team. Here’s looking forward to what’s to come.
