Happy New Year, Topper Families!
We are looking forward to celebrating an UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONSHIP season with all of you next week! Our banquet will be held on Sunday, January 8th at 4:00 PM in the Somersworth High School cafeteria and will be catered by Old Rail Pizza. A few details:
Championship Rings: As Coach Lambert mentioned in his previous communications, championship rings will be ordered at the banquet. Boosters are contributing to the cost, but each player is responsible for $100 towards the cost of their ring. A sponsorship form is attached if you wish to fundraise for your ring. Please note that we must have payment before your ring is ordered, so please bring it with you to the banquet. We are accepting checks payable to SHS Football Boosters or cash. Venmo will be accepted at the banquet only if paid in full, and please note there will be an extra $5 charge if you choose to pay with Venmo to cover the fees incurred.
Banquet Admission Cost: To help cover the cost of the banquet, we are asking families to contribute $5 per person or $20 per family. Cost will be waived if you provide a gift card valued at $20 or more for our upcoming golf tournament in June 2023. This is a great way to not only support our local business community, but to help with our major fundraising event. Athletes and coaches do not need to pay!
Letterman Jackets: Jackets will be ordered online this year. Please use this link to order your jacket: https://collinssports.chipply.com/toppersjackets/. The store will remain open until January 15th. Please note that due to supply chain issues, jackets are on backorder and will likely not be received until April. Juniors, we suggest placing an order now if you want a jacket for senior pictures!
Championship Merchandise: We are working with Collins Sports to set up a store so families can purchase championship gear. Stay tuned for a link!
Boosters Needed: If you are interested in getting involved in Boosters for the 2023 season, now is the time! We will have several officer positions open next year and it would be great to see some freshman and sophomore parents get involved.
