Big shout out to Daniel Young and Trey Andrews for balling out and representing Hightstown Rams Pop Warner at the Zone6ixFootball Middle School Showcase yesterday 6/4. Showcase was led by coaches from Don Bosco Prep, St. Peter’s, DePaul Catholic and many other amazing leaders in the game!

🚨We cannot wait for the 2022 season to start! DON’T FORGET EVERY FRIDAY 14/12U optional workouts at the HHS. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE FALL 2022 SEASON TO WORKOUT🚨

Hello Ram Families,

A few updates:

- Don’t forget TUESDAY APRIL 26 EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION for Hightstown Rams Pop Warner Cheer and Football! Registration will take place at Hightstown High school cafeteria from 6-8pm! Sign up and shop all new 2022 merchandise!

- Our Skills WR/RB/TE Camp is FULL. We do have a waitlist and encourage all athletes who are still interested to add their names! We are hoping to open up more spots.

- We have 3 spots left in our QB Camp and 6 left in our OL/DL Camp. Please remember OL/DL Camp is 1-8th grade.

- Hightstown Rams Pop Warner will be participating in Windsor Day at Hightstown High school on April 29! If you have have any question about the program meet us there! We will have a booth and fun giveaways!

Hello Rams Family!!

We hope you are all healthy and safe at home with your families and managing well in these unprecedented times of COVID-19.

So first, if anyone is in need of help in any capacity please reach out via text, email, or social media to any of us - your Rams Family is here and willing to support you!

Second, we want to encourage all of our athletes to stay physically and mentally active - now is the perfect time to start training and practicing your skills for fall. How do you do this in isolation you ask? Enter social media!

We are asking our Pop Warner athletes to get outside and get creative! Send us a 20+ second video - an agility drill, a new cheer, an excercise circuit - the ideas are endless! Please send your video as a direct message to our new IG page .

Once we see some action we plan to propose a contest/challenge to keep up the momentum of connecting our teammates with each other :)

And last - REGISTRATION IS OPEN ONLINE!! 🏈🥳 (hightstownrrams.org)
We don't need your money yet - just let us know you're with us this fall so we can start planning the season (since we have the time!).

Sign up for Saturday! Look for Equipment Return and Shed Clean Up Opportunity in the volunteer tab on our site.

There are still canning opportunities posted as well

Volunteer bond checks will be cashed after November 18th for those with outstanding volunteer time.

Happy Monday Rams!!!
Most of our football players are in pads as of now. Please remember to have them wear/bring to practice:
- Practice pants (black)
- Pinny
- Shoulder pads
- Cup
- Mouth guard
- Helmet
- Cleats
- Plenty of water!!
- Bring any outstanding paperwork to your team moms - the books will be getting certified soon
- Pennies/bills for your Penny War bucket and silver to sabotage the others!

📣 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - The Rams Declare a Penny War!! 💰

The Annual Penny War Fundraiser commences Monday,
August 5th

Rules of Engagement:
- During practices each team will have their own bucket for collecting money – held by your Team Mom
- GAIN points by adding PENNIES and BILLS to your team's bucket
- LOWER other teams points by sneaking SILVER COINS into their buckets
- Friday, August 23rd buckets will be collected for counting - one cheer and one football team will move ahead to the finals.
- The Finalists' coin buckets will then be displayed at the concession stand during all home games to continue the war with the help of everyone in attendance!

Remember:
- Pennies & Bills - ADD points
- Silver Coins - SUBTRACT points

The Winning team is treated to a Pizza Party!! 🍕🎉

The Hightstown Pop Warner Rams place value on safety measures that make a difference!

- Our program is structured by the Traditional Age and Weight matrix for division placement
- USA Football’s Heads Up Football training is mandatory for all Pop Warner coaches because a well-educated coach is critical to a safer football experience
- Contact is limited to 25% of practice time
- Kickoffs for our youngest divisions have been eliminated
- Concussions in our league are very rare - but in the event
that a player suffers a suspected head injury, it is mandatory that they receive medical clearance from a concussion specialist before returning to play
